We originally contacted Joe Aspatore to provide an estimate for painting our kitchen cabinets.  We had just purchased a condo in Lafayette and were unfamiliar with contractors in this area which is why we consulted Angie's list.   Joe was very prompt in responding to our request for an estimate and we decided to not only have him refinish the kitchen cabinets but to also do some interior painting for us.  Joe was truly exceptional in many ways.  We live primarily in Florida (Lafayette is our second home) and having Joe perform this work while we were living and working in Florida was a bit tricky.  But he made this process extremely smooth and easy for us.  He kept us updated on every stage of the process by sending pictures to us as they progressed.  It was clear from the pictures that Joe was meticulous about protecting our furniture and floors while they performed this work.  Joe also provided invaluable advice and consultation to us about various issues that popped up during the project.  I can't recommend Joe enough.  He's very talented and extremely dedicated to doing a great job for his clients.

I chose them because I got an estimate from them. They did not have the lowest estimate, but by far, they seemed to know that they were talking about, and they did it. It was great. What stood out for me is that Joel Aspatore, the owner, has been in the business for many years. He actually used to do basement works as well which means he really knows materials and ceilings. He is just very knowledgeable about surfaces, paints, colors, and everything. He is very meticulous and very picky. His team is small, but they are equally competent. So, everything about it stood out as stewardship of quality.

J.P. Aspatore painted the exterior of our house, and did a TERRIFIC job. So professional. We had the house painted not very long ago, and the painters did such a bad job, the paint job started breaking down almost immediately. In contrast, Joe knew exactly what had gone wrong, and fixed the issues. The house was carefully prepped for painting, the areas of dry rot fixed, a nice protective base coat was put on, and the paint job was perfect. We have lots of nooks and crannies so this wasn't an easy job. But they took the time to do it right. At first they thought it would take two weeks--it took three, but they didn't cut corners. Joe and Mark worked to get it done right. They knew the best quality paints as well. We love the work they did. We recommend them 100%. They are true professionals. Lots of people can paint, but if you want someone who knows what they are doing, is professional and responsible, knows wood and paint, this is the company to go with. The value of your house depends on someone who knows the business. We can't say enough about them. We hope to be loyal customers in the years ahead. Thanks so much Joe and Mark, we appreciate it!
