I’d seen the rave reviews on Yelp for the company and their lead technician, Majeed, and decided to try him. I’m so glad I did. He managed to fit my job in between his others, responded by phone immediately, came the next day, and really knew his stuff. He replaced the dryer start switch very efficiently and showed me how he did it. Nice man, too.

Service was prompt, professional and courteous.

Tony fixed it two days after my inquiry. The dryer works great.

Majeed knows about the kitchen appliances. what goes for fittings and electric requirements. very efficient and knowledgeable.

Tony Hariri took my call and set up an appointment within a day of my call. He called to let me know he was able to come earlier than the appointed time which was great for me. He immediately knew why my Whirlpool refrigerator was leaking water on the floor. The drain for the freezer was clogged with ice and so he went about clearing the drain, telling me that this was a frequent problem with these units but easily fixed.
As he was working, I realized that I had intended to have the hoses to my washing machine, which were very old, replaced. I asked him to take a look. He said he could easily take care of it and had time to do it on this call, saving me the cost of another service call.
When he finished with the refrigerator, he replaced the hoses on the washer, and said he could also replace the dryer vent pipe, which was also very old.
As he was finishing that work, I remembered that the bleach dispenser on the washer was allowing the bleach to run directly onto the floor. He removed the front of the washer, saw that the tube had become detached and re-attached it, adding a clamp so it would not come loose again.
He did all these repairs on one service call and parts and labor were only $260. I would absolutely recommend him and will use him for any appliance repair needs I have in the future.

I always prefer service recommends versus sales. I ordered a new Bosch online and called hi tech back to install. They were prompt with both service calls and called with updates prior to their scheduled window which I appreciate. Very professional. I will use them again.

I called Hi-Tech because my dishwasher wasn't washing things properly- about 1/4 of each load needed to be rewashed. Majeed came in the middle of the appointment window, and was quick and efficient in finding the problem. It turned out the installers had messed something up, so he fixed it, and gave me some samples of his favorite brand of dishwasher soap. He did say that it was possible the pump would need to be replaced, but that he hoped the fix would work.
Before he started, since it looks fairly new, he asked if it was still under warranty, saying that he didn't want to take my money if the manufacturer would cover repairs. I said it was a few months out of warranty, so he went ahead and did the work.
Now for the extra-awesome part- at first it seemed like everything was ok, but the washing quality quickly went downhill, so I called to schedule for the pump to be replaced. I got a call back the next morning, and before scheduling, she said that even though it was out of warranty, she thought I should call the manufacturer first, because it would cost several hundred dollars to replace the pump. So I called Bosch, and they said that since the warranty was only a few months expired, they'd send a factory tech and do parts and labor for free.
I'm a very happy customer, and will definitely be a repeat customer when I have appliance problems in the future.

Our 3 year old Whirlpool washing machine sprung a small leak inside it. I could see water dripping into the main compartment. I did a little trouble-shooting of my own and found that turning off the hot-water faucet at the wall stopped the drip.
I then called Whirlpool central service, which turned out to be no help at all! Next found 3 names on Angie's List and called them . The first two were fine, but unfortunately did not service washers for which the dryer has been vertically stacked above it. Mainly they had a problem with man-power, i.e. getting the dryer down and lifting it back up later.
I then tried Hi-Tech Appliance of Walnut Creek, and promptly got Majeed. I explained the situation to him and while he usually does not work on stacked washer-dryers, he said he would handle it for an additional fee, as he would be bringing an extra person. (In the end he did not charge me this extra amount.)
Two hours later he called back with a quote for the part and labor. A little later he called again, said he had acquired the part and would drop by in the evening (2 hour window) and install it.
He came on time, did job competently and matter of factly. He is friendly and answers questions about the job while working. The final cost was the same amount quoted, minus the charge for the extra man.

They were great. I would highly recommend this company. They were able to come to very next day after I called. They came in the time they said they would. He was very professional and courteous. He knew what he was doing and you can tell. The service call was $125 and the part was another $45. It is on the high end of a service call but I feel that it was worth the extra money.

Our dryer had squeaked for a few days and then started making a racket when it went around. We suspected something had broken inside. We had used Hi-tech Appliance (I believe this is a different company than Hi-Tech Appliance Repair but am not sure). a few years ago and called them again. Tina called back and scheduled a time window for the following day. They made it at the end of that window, and called on the way to let me know they were coming. Majeed came in and pulled the dryer right apart, cleaned up the inside while he was at it, saw what was needed, had the parts in his truck, and put them in. In addition to the new rollers, he recommended replacing the belt since he had it open and they commonly break. Tina came in about half way through and helped, and both were friendly. In fifteen minutes it was all done, easy, no problems, great relief.
