I am happy with results, but not happy about the very long and tedious process. Our neighbor’s unit flooded ours, completely ruining our Junker hardwoods. Suzie @Fine Floorz had previously done another neighbor’s unit and we liked the result so we contacted her. Suzie met us right away at their showroom and had pulled a few samples. We landed on one and had the papers signed by Tuesday and materials ordered by Wednesday. Once the deposit had been paid, that’s when the issues started: • Suzie originally said that the floors could be in their warehouse within 2 weeks. It actually took 4-6 weeks to get the floors delivered. We were never informed of this delay, even though Suzie swore up and down she told us. I think between my husband and I we would have remembered. • When the floors did arrive they were different from the sample. After a few days of researching we discovered that the sample we saw was mislabeled, and that finish was no longer available. What’s worse is that Suzie had said this exact issue happened before with the owner of the company, yet the sample was never pulled from the showroom. • We agreed to keep the delivered floors (similar but not exact aesthetic). Installation went smoothly. • Due to the mix up, Suzie agreed to pay for and install a timber accent wall in our bedroom. However, after the floors were installed she stopped answering emails or calls, and would respond to texts sporadically. • I give the hardwood floor job a C. However, because we still have not received the timber wall my rating for this company has been lowered to a D. I cannot recommend this company, nor would I use them again.
