Generally, I refrain from writing reviews for companies unless they perform their work beyond my expectations, Kastamamanov Construction happens to be one of those companies. Aleksandar Kastamanov and his son Aleks are both Perfectionists and men of good character they both demonstrate a willingness to work with you to address any concerns that arise during the project, they do quality work at a very competitive price, they are easy to work with, *accommodating and go beyond basic requirements for the sake of quality, safety, and stability. During the inspection the county inspector kept saying things like,* good job and most guys do not take the time to do that , referring to the qualify work they had done. They both demonstrate attention to details and invite input of ideas to see that you are happy with their work. This deck that Aleks replaced for me I built 50 years ago so I know what it takes to build a structure that will last through many years of use. Well, having watched their work from beginning to end I can tell you that Aleksander and Aleks have constructed a beautiful deck for us that is built to last for many many years. Attention to detail started when demolition began and lasted throughout the project until the final strand of stainless steel railing was installed. If you want a new deck or an old deck replaced there is a lot of contractors to choose from around but, if you want your project done right, done beyond the bare minimum required according to your City and County permits, and built at a very and competitive price, Kastamanov construction is the company for you. Aleksandar and his son Aleks are both men of integrity and good character, they are both easy to work with skilled and knowledgeable. Any future projects that I have, both interior and exterior will include a prejudiced request for a bid from Kastamanov construction.

Outstanding work. Finished repairs are undetectable, except that everything works!

Charged $350 for 15 minutes of work to replace gasket in water shut off valve to refrigerator. The work needed was explained to him on the phone. Two people came to do this simple work.

Responsive, timely, clean, good work. Seems pricey, but will probably hire him again.

The refrigerator was leaking and the shut off valve would not completely turn off. The water was damaging the kitchen wood floor. The shut off valve or the gasket in the valve needed to be replace. This was explained to Alexsander. He came 2 days later with an helper and charged my wife $350 for 15 minutes of work We did not need to have two people to do this simple work. I had called a handyman as I thought it would be cheaper. I would have been better off calling a professional plumber. I and my son are architects and contractor. Normally we would have done this our self but we were both out of town. My wife was at the house by her self at the time and he took advantage of the situation and overcharge for the work.

On time and organized. Good quality of work but pricing high. Suited for large projects that require complex skills.

Aleks was wonderful to work with; he listened intently to our vision of a remodeled bathroom and the finished product was done with class and quality.

Aleksander was very helpful with a critical eye towards my home's marketability. He found certain items in conjunction with my requested tasks that required attention and his crew completed the additional tasks efficiently. Aleksander also found a safety issue not noted by the home inspection service I had employed, which was a requirement for the sale of the home and we will schedule that work shortly.

He brings extensive knowledge to the work and suggested better ways to accomplish what was needed.

Aleks is very responsive, he came to our home on Sunday to review what needed to be done, listened to what we needed and gave his suggestions, and came back Tuesday and Wednesday to do the work. We still have some items pending and look forward to working with Aleks to get these and future projects done too.

Aleks and his crew, Abraham and John, installed a new range and range hood in my kitchen. Space for the old range was s too small for the new one. Some noisy, dusty slicing of tile and cement had to be done. In the end everything looks beautiful. Great work and great clean-up. -- Aleks is easy to work with - all are respectful of the household and do excellent work in good time. I highly recommend Aleks Kastamanov.

I hired Aleks to remodel a closet, replace light fixtures, install new recessed lights, install new gutters and install dimmers. Aleks called right after I logged on to Home Advisor and came out the same day to see the projects. He recommended a few things that I had not thought of and they were great ideas. Aleks was easy to communicate with and arrived a few days later to complete the work, right on time. I would hire him again.

Aleks is expensive but his quality of work is excellent. Upon request, he came back the next day to complete a couple of small errors his crew made. I was impressed with his quick responsiveness and overall quality of work.

This handyman was very professional, and easy to work with.

Aleks & his crew were excellent. The kitchen linoleum was damaged due to water leaking from the fridge. But more water damage was discovered under the house due to broken pipes. Aleks helped me make cost-effective decisions. The kitchen floor is now beautiful, thanks to Aleks.

I would highly recommend Aleks. He called me literally a few minutes after I signed on at Home Advisor. he came out to see the projects the next day. He started and finished the work when he said he would (within a few days), and charged me what he said he would. He also offered some advice about other projects. To me, this experience was a relief and a most welcome change from my numerous past problems with other contractors. He is also a personable guy. What more could a homeowner want?

I liked that Alex started and finished the job when he said he would. Very willing to please and I would hire him again.

Aleks did a beautiful job remodeling my bathroom so I could have a walkin shower, stacked washer/dryer and matching countertops and sink. He completed the project in the time he said, even with a holiday and permits needed. As the other reviews have said he does high quality work, is easy to talk to and very knowledgable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, licensed contractor who wants the job completed without hassles.

Alex is very professional and knowledgeable. He does high quality work and he is responsive. He also seems to be a little expensive.

Cash only doesn't accept credit cards.

Recommended a different type of repair which solved the problem (dishwasher air gap) without having to drill a hole in the counter top tile.
