Yanez Painting Inc.

I'm writing this review to hopefully help someone that chooses to use this company for services. Please take pictures of your existing property before you have any work done. I expected a professional paint job for $1,150.00 to paint trims on 3 doors, 1 door, a security gate w/frame, a small fence, my overhang and fascia. That being said my stucco had been painted all around my house about 6 inches below the trim. Some boards weren't the same color due to bleed thru of the unpainted wood and a special primer wasn't used to prevent the bleed through. One of my attic screens had been punctured during the pressure washing. The door knob was forced back onto my security gate in the wrong position and the screws to the lock were stripped and one was missing. I sent an email to the company included pictures and a few minutes later was instructed that Roberto was on his way to pick up the check for the work done and would go over it with me and make it right. When Robert came by, I showed him my concerns but he denied damaging the screen and denied the door knob not being even. When I asked if they would do the painting on the boards that didn't look painted the same, he told be it was the best he could do because there isn't oil-based primer available to buy anymore. One it is wood so no oil based but Killz primer should've blocked that. I asked for the color used to paint my trim, they provided me the color and now I have to get up there and fix "a professional paint job" I just paid to have done. In my opinion I gave Yanez painting a chance to correct what I felt was not to my expectation of a professional painting and they refused to correct, fix or offer a discount in the price of the job. Come to find out after having an estimate done for my stucco to get done, it will cost me more money to have my stucco done because there is a layer of paint in those 6 inches of the stucco all around my home.
