Willis Exterminators is family owned and operated, since 1979, providing professional and personal service with integrity. We are Termite Inspection and repair specialists and take pride in our Termite Inspectors being thorough. We specialize in the larger more difficult jobs as well as working with condos and Homeowners Associations. We have our own crews to complete the recommended termite damage and dryrot repairs. While working in North San Diego County for close to 30 years, we have developed a 95% referral customer base. We have accomplished this by striving to do the jobright, from start to finish and standing behind our work. To make an accurate accessment of your property, you start with a thorough Termite Inspection, which takes time. Our thoughts are, “If you’re not going to take the time to do it right, why get out of the truck?” Our goal is to find all the termite infestation, termite damage and dryrot to give you the best recommendation to maintain the integrity of the structure and protect your investment. Unfortunately, I cannot share the same positive experience. A family member purchased a condo and we were assisting since we lived around the corner. While names will remain anonymous for hopes of personal improvement and customer service training, Willis Exterminators called my wife stating the condo was locked and the team could not do their job. Their representative demanded my wife go over and unlock the door as the key was NOT under the matt as we stated. Thinking the worst and someone stole the key, my wife quickly ran over there and to her astonishment, the door was open, the crew was inside and it was the OTHER unit that was locked and owners non-responsive. I'm very find with miscommunication and mistakes, however, the tone and demand from this company prior to gathering all the facts of the situation was not professional.

I have used Willis Exterminators before (10 years ago) for a whole house fumigation. This is a family owned business and ten years ago the father did the work, now the son Keith is the manager. He and an assistant closely inspected my house and marked the infested spots and told me I needed only local treatment and not a tenting or fumigation. They were very thorough and found spots that a previous inspector the week before did not mark. Willis's bid for the work was lower than their competitor,and Willis did not try to add on extra stuff - an alternative company offered to spray my attic with Borate solution for an additional $1000, even though much of the wood up there is covered with insulation.
They drilled approx. 1/8 inch diameter holes in the infected areas of wood and sprayed in Termidor. They guarantee the work for one year. I would use these guys again.

I think they are very good. They have always been very friendly. When I call them, they are here within a two day range. They are very thorough. I can call them any time I see anything and they will come out.

Mike Willis is the owner. I've used them in several buildings and they are excellent. I have a contract with them and they don't charge for the inspections and they do a proposal for the work. They make it really easy for my tenants when they have to tent the place. They are really good. They are very responsive and they come when I ask them to come. They notify me ahead of time.

INSPECTOR ARRIVED AT APPOINTED TIME. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY. KNOCKED A FEW DINGS IN THE WALL WITH HIS LADDER.
