Ultimate Carpet Cleaning

Good work at a fair price. They were able to schedule the work quickly. They didn't charge extra for using a rotating brush on the high traffic areas to help them come clean. They use high-quality truck-mounted equipment from ProChem. Gary the owner has lot's of experience and it's a small family run business, so he will be there doing the work (with help as needed). I recommend them very highly and will definitely use them again.

Our carpeting was not terribly stained, though there were some spots, but it was just in dire need of a real cleaning. He and his son worked about 3 1/2 hours, maybe longer, on 4 bedrooms, an office, a large family room, the hall, and of course, the stairs. It looked great when he finished. I also asked him about replacing carpeting in the hall and on the stairs (we had purchased additional carpet when we bought this one.) He looked at the sample and pointed out it was slightly darker than the one on the floor. Gave us the name of a good installer who worked on small jobs, but asked us to wait and see if we really needed to do it since his cleaning job was so thorough. He left blower fans with us which we could move around the rooms to accelerate the drying. Left us with booties to wear if we walked on the rugs before they were completely dry. Noticed our dining room chair upholstery was in dire need of a cleaning (it was white but looked very old and dirty.) Gave us a bid of $10 a chair. Very pleasant experience. Called to say he was caught in traffic and might be 15 minutes late. Stayed on job until finished. Explained how long it should take to dry but cautioned that it depended on the humidity, etc. He underestimated how long it did take (24-36 hours to be completely dry.) However, that was no problem. Picked up fans several days later (after calling to set a time and he was on time.) Returned to do chairs. He and his son spent a couple of hours on the chairs, and I now realize he had underestimated how much work was involved to get up the stains and the residual stains from a previous cleaning years ago. He should have charged MORE than he did. I would highly rec. this cleaning company. (He calls the business Ultimate Carpet Cleaning, but I notice there is another business by the same name in San Diego, so I added "Vista" since that is the location of his business.
