We called Thomas for an estimate on remodeling our small guest bathroom. We had a water leak and had already had the restoration cleanup team remove the drywall, tile, vanity and flooring. We had to allow several days for the big fans to completely dry the room. When Thomas arrived to give us an estimate, he asked us what we wanted to do to the room plus he gave us great suggestions. I appreciated that he arrived to our appointment on time, was a great listener to our ideas, and he was prompt in providing us an estimate. We had already gotten two previous estimates from other contractors. Thomas' estimate was comparable, and we appreciated the fact he could start on our job two days later. We also appreciated that he told us the date he would try to have our job completed. We had house guests coming three days after that completion date, so we were happy that this contractor could complete the job in two week's time. Hiring T & G was the BEST decision we could have made. Each day Thomas told us what would be happening the next day. Thomas was like the "ringmaster" scheduling the drywaller, tile man and carpenter. Each day we had work being accomplished on our bathroom. We had heard horror stories from friends regarding other contractors where several days go by and no activity occurs on the remodel job. This was not the case with Thomas and his team! They are true professionals who know their craft. They attended to every detail as if they were remodeling their own bathroom. I cannot say enough about Benjy who layed our tile. We chose a Versailles pattern that was complicated to say the least. Benjy is an artist in addition to knowing how to lay tile. The tile was in varied colors and he was able to cut and place tiles in a very pleasing manner. The people who have seen our shower and floor have been impressed with the artistry of the job. The man who hung the shower door complimented Benjy, saying "he really knows his job" as the shower opening was level and perfectly square. Ramon built a beautiful vanity as per our specifications. It is a distressed finish, alder wood, and it's gorgeous! We paid for the granite top of the vanity, the shower door, the faucet, shower valve, mirror, toilet, and light fixtures. Thomas covered all labor for plumbing, electrical, building and installing vanity, preparation and install of granite, removal of shower pan, hot mopping, purchase of tile and laying tile, and all drywall. (We painted the room.). Thomas completed the job one day after his completion date, and the only reason he had a one day delay is he wanted to not install the toilet until the shower door installer put in that door. The bathroom is small, and that shower door installer greatly appreciated having the room to do his job. Our bathroom looks like something out of House Beautiful magazine.
