HANDYMAN NETWORK

Not a good experience. The handyman did not bring a ladder, clean up rags or any other supplies or tools that he would need. I happened to have all that was needed. The siding installation was mediocre at best and the paint job was awful. He slopped paint on my new deck and missed portions of the siding. The owner came back with the handyman and repainted. Even the return visit was marginal at best. He started to change the motion detector and decided that it was too high and he was afraid of heights. He started putting in the baseboard and commented that the baseboard I had was really trim. I felt he was ready to leave and did not want to be bothered with the rest of the job For the amount of time and the finished job I feel that I paid way too much for a poor job.

The company listed an email that could be used as a contact, so I submitted a request for information. It's been almost 2 weeks, and I've never received a response, via email or telephone. I will not be doing business with them if they ever do bother to contact me, since rapid response to customer needs is obviously not a priority for them.

I WAS VERY, VERY FAVORABLY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM HANDYMAN NETWORK. I DESCRIBED THE JOB TO THE CLERICAL WHO TOOK MY ORDER AND H-N SET OUT TWO MEN TO DO A TWO-MAN JOB. CHRIS (THE OWNER) ESTIMATED THE JOB, GAVE ME A GUARANTEED PRICE, AND WAS PREPARED TO GO TO WORK RIGHT THEN. THE JOB REQUIRED THEM TO WORK CAREFULLY AND NOT BREAK UP ANY MORE OF THE COUNTERTOP TILES AND THE CABINET THAN NECESSARY BECAUSE I WANTED TO RE-INSTALL IT LATER ON. THE JOB WAS SOMEWHAT MORE DIFFICULT THAN ANY OF US EXPECTED, BUT CHRIS AND HIS ASSISTANT WORKED QUICKLY AND CAREFULLY AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE HANDYMAN NETWORK BID AT A GUARANTEED PRICE WAS ONE OF THE LOWER ONES I OBTAINED. THEIR CREW SHOWED UP EXACTLY AT THE TIME PROMISED, BROUGHT ALL THE RIGHT TOOLS WITH THEM, AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I DEFINITELY INTEND TO HAVE THEM BACK WHEN I HAVE MORE WORK FOR THEM TO DO. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. (HN IS NOT A REFERRAL SERV).
