Brent Dils' family has been in the contracting/roofing business since 1940 and Brent has been running Dils Roofing since 1983. Dils Roofing uses it's own employees for it's installations which include work on single family homes, multi tenant as well as commercial and industrial properties. Brent is an "Industry Expert' for the Contractor's State License Board and provides consulting services for various architectural, insurance and legal firms. Dils Roofing is an A+ rated member of the San Diego BBB.

Services we offer

Roofing and roof repairs of all types including tile, as well as options for low slope roofing with Title-24 compliant "cool roof" systems to save energy. We also install various types of siding, composition shingles, metal roofing, roof cleaning, siding repairs and offer window installations when residing a home.

They have been great to work with. The technician, Louis, who comes out each year does great work. He is good at finding broken tiles and informing about the gutters. Last year they made a few tile replacements to the roof from pieces I had left over. They are very careful not to break any tiles and make scheduling very easy. The pricing was very high for the roof but visitors have been very impressed with the way it looks.

We purchased a short sale and in the disclosure process the owner stated that the patio covers (4) were for "shade only" and that they leaked and were not flashed to the house nor did they have a proper cricket troffs for drainage. The owner stated he had a quote from a roofer for $8,000 to fix and flash the patio tile roofs but never acted on it. Once I took ownership of the house I joined DirectBuy and Dils Roofing is on their vendor list, so I had them quote. They quoted $4,000 and completed the job in one week and the covers have been leak free since. Excellent in all categories.

Dils Roofing came out and gave us a bid along with one other company. Dils Roofing came in on budget, and did a fabulous job. They completely removed all the old tiles, and at the end of each work day, the workers cleaned up the area so well no one would have known they were even there! This is a huge house, but they got the job done in less than 10 days (I think it only took about 7 days).
