Since COASTAL PLUMBING INC refused a beyond generous settlement offer to pay for PARTS ONLY. TWO failed installations to state code that caused over $50,000 damage in the timeline below and phone calls to COASTAL PLUMBING on Dec 17, 18, 19 and 20. COASTAL PLUMBING INC and SYSTEMATIC NATIONAL COLLECTIONS have until 18 JAN 2019 to remove ALL negative information or Wounded Warrior will be forced to serve both companies for FRAUD. They tore out all copper tubing, Pulled out the dishwasher and the stove. Needed a new revers osmosis, Proceeded to complain that there was no shut off for some appliances. Ice machine in refrigerator still does work. When he left he thought he was all through told me when to turn on the revers osmosis, That night there was gold resin coming out of the pipe in the bath tub. called and he said he would be out the next day, and did not come for many days. He came to flush the system, and said they needed to order parts. There was many fees for parts and shipping do the projects. He would not come when he said he was going to come. Would not set a specific time to come to work on the project. In order to get water into the house he took a torch to connect pipes and ruined pipes. They would not refund my money so I had to go somewhere else to get a new water softener. Never got my money back. They did not leave any warranties.

Very responsive and on time. Water Heater job was done perfectly and I really enjoyed the person who performed the work. He was very knowledgeable and was open to all my questions. The Gas line replacement appeared to be done correctly and with quality. When SDGE came out to test the main line after reconnecting the gas, we found there was no gas coming to the main part of the house. Had the same individual come back out the next day and found out that he had not properly assessed the work and connected his new line to the Fire Place gas line but not to the main line to the house. He spent just as much the second time but did not charge for the work since it was their error. Overall, I felt the price was higher than expected. The quality of work was what I expected and the company was very responsive.

I love these guys. I'm a kitchen & bath designer and so have frequent need of a plumber. Not only am I happy with them, but all my clients have been pleased, too. They are professional, patient with questions, neat, know the building codes, and insist on getting the job done right. They are one of the few plumbing outfits anymore that will work on a time & materials basis or will give you a flat rate for the task. Ask for an estimate first. I always ask for Aaron or Anthony--I've worked with them for more than 5 years.

I don't know much about plumbing, but everything works! The workers were extremely neat and punctual.

The guy was able to diagnose a problem that no other plumber (at least 3) had, that my house has "non-directional plumbing," which means the drain pipe has a bend in it. I was glad that he figured that out and told me. He did snake out the drains, but left a big mess in my bathroom (stuff splattered on the wall). He was also not prepared with the equipment to investigate for an estimate on the larger repair, which disappointed me because I had asked for that when I made the call. A week later, the owner called with a customer satisfaction survey and I told him my experience. The owner seemed to genuinely care about improving quality of service for the company, so that is a good thing.

The job they were hired to do was very basic. The "technician" who showed up replaced the on/off valves under every sink in the house, and replaced the hoses on the washing machine. He did not give an estimate prior to starting work. After he left, we found leaks under four sinks. In addition, during the repair of the washer, he allowed the machine to slide off of a support, and the machine fell hard. After he left, we found that the machine did not function. He did poor work, and did not check his work. My wife and I were the ones who found the problems. When I called the company at 4:35 pm, I was told they were gone for the day, and I could leave a message. I felt that I did not want these people in my home again. Based upon the work done, I lost faith in their competence. We ended up hiring another plumber to rectify Coastal Plumbing's mistakes, and hired a repairman to fix the washer. The company agreed to subtract the cost of the washer repair from their bill.

Follow-up to prior visits, wherein (in addition to other small repair jobs). Anthony tried to repair a high-end faucet but with no luck due to Kohler sending the wrong (or incomplete) parts! He has always been helpful and gone the extra mile, and I highly recommend this company. Prices are on the high side, but my experience (and that of the person who initially recommended them to me) is that they have consistently been very honest, very reliable and very good, so I am glad to pay for this caliber of service.

Arrived within 3.5 hours of phoning. Installation completed quickly.

The plumber was on time, very courteous, willing to thoroughly explain the repair, completed the repair quickly, price was reasonable.

They are good overall. The owner is very skilled plumber. He is very good instincts, when others can't. They charge fair prices.
