This skylight makes a great deal of difference in transforming a dark area into one with plenty of light.      My husband was satisfied that installing this skylight would not impair the integrity of the roof.   We will probably have further installations done in our interior bath and a large master closet.

The service was spectacular; Adam was extremely professional. He called to say he was running later (which was fine with me). He arrived, openly discussed the options for placements of the solar tube (pros and cons) and then started working. I think he was done in 90 minutes. He covered the entire area with drop cloths to protect the floor and sink area and did a complete clean up after he was done. I simply cannot praise the professional behavior of the company or Adam enough.

I saw a display at a recent Home and Garden show in San Diego. The display showed a solatube skylight and a solar star solar powered attic fan. I was familiar with the solatube since I had two installed in my previous house. The solatubes worked so great I was curious about the facts on the solar star. During the heat of the summer, my upstairs bedroom and office get really hot. I don't like to use the air conditioning due to the expense and the idea that the entire house is cooled when I just need one or two rooms cooled. The ceiling fans in each room help a bit, but still the heat is radiating in from the tile roof. The idea of the solar star sold itself. If the sun is shining it is creating a nice airflow through the attic, thus helping to keep the rooms cooler. I am looking forward to summer to see how effective the unit really is. When the installer arrived, I thought he was going to recommend that he install two solar stars. After making a thorough inspection in the attic, he stated I probably needed just one. I went with one. He even cut a hole in some extraneous plywood so the fan would work more efficiently. I was really impressed. I climbed on the roof after the job was completed to check its location and felt the flow of air. It had a good flow and was whisper quiet. The install was very neat and tidy. The installer, Steve, did a good cleanup job. He was very efficient at his job. The job took approximately one and one half hours to complete. I received a $50 discount since I signed up for the install at the home show. They have a very good guarantee on the solar star.

The guy came out on a Saturday to give us a quote. He did it in less than two hours with no mess. The skylights are working wonderfully. I would recommend him.

It is a solar powered attic fan. They have an excellent product and they are very nice to deal with. They are reliable and were on time. The product has been installed for a year and it is still working good.

Justin & his trainee arrived early. They checked out the area where I wanted the installation. They were able to remove a light fixture & install a solatube with a light kit in my entryway. They had to install the one in my hallway off center due to a support beam interference. This unit also has a light kit but they were unable to hook it up to any power source. I was unaware that I would need a electrician. The last unit was installed in my family room without a light kit but due to support beam interference I had to use the smaller tube. They were very knowledgeable about the product & installation. They were efficient. They cleaned up prior to leaving.

They were great from the first phone call. The phone was answered with enthusiasm and humor. Steve (our rep) came out the same day to give me a quote (and was on time). He explained the product thoroughly, answered all my questions (and wasn't a bit pushy) and when I decided to order the product, managed to get this installer scheduled for the same week. The installer and his assistant showed up on time, did a beautiful job and cleaned up the mess. The only difference in the house between when they arrived and when they left was the beautiful sunlight! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a way to brighten their home (no pun intended).

Robert was prompt and explained the process in detail as well as took the time to explain the warranty after the installation was complete. He inspected my attic and then completed the work in about 1 hour as he had estimated. The fan works beautifully and is so quiet I cannot even hear it when I up next to it on the roof. Very pleased with the product, installation and professionalism of the folks involved including the scheduler.

The customer service was excellent. The price was negotiated over the phone ahead of time. The installation schedule was agreed upon, and the installer arrived during the time window promised. The installer was courteous and seemed pleasant. There were no extras charged, but the installer had to borrow one tool from me (an electric recriprocating saw) since he did not have one. The installation went pretty quickly, but the clean up was a little less than expected.

They were in and out in 2 hours. Its a beautiful lit area. They made the appointment, carried out what they said they would do. They were fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone.
