This was our second time using the company, and it was a good experience as usual.  They came out as quickly as possible, and they charged me the same rates as the last time I hired them which was nice.

They came out on Thursday to see what was causing the door not to open.  They found the problem, but didn't have the part with them.
The next day they came out and replaced the part.  Now our door works just fine!

I would not use this company again. I called and arranged for a new garage door opener to be placed at a family members house. The price quoted over the phone was for a garage door opener, 2 remotes, and  touch pad. When the worker came out he told my family member he would give them a special cash deal for the touch pad and they could pay him directly and not tell anyone. I called and talked to the office to confirm this was already included in the price and then confronted the worker. How dare he try and take advantage of an elderly person. The garage door kit came with an electric safety eye and wiring which the installer did not use. He just used the old one that was there. Within two months the opener was not working correctly and the person who came out said it was the wiring for the electronic eye and we explained the previous installer didn't use the new wiring that was included with the new garage door opener. They did replace this with new wiring under the warranty. I used this company 12 years ago it is clear they are not the same company they were then.

Contacted the firm and obtained valuable information in selecting the proper product.  The Dealer told me this information and I proceeded  to purchase and was given a time of arrival.  The installer arrived and informed me of an additional item that needed to be replaced as this is the Spring that raises the Garage Door.All items were replaced and installed properly.

Now my garage door opener operated fantastic and efficiently.

Was very prompt in responding to my son's call for help and although he didn't have the correct cable length on his first trip he came back promptly with the correct cable and made the repair. His initial quote was around $250 because he thought the spring mechanisium might be broken however it wasn't and the actual cost was lower. I was thrilled with his honesty.

My garage door broke and I wasn't even sure what the problem was. I placed a call to Bedford because I was looking for a company in my area. The lady who answered was very pleasant and listen to my description of what happened and was able to tell me what was wrong with my garage door and what would need to be replaced and how much that would be. The people they have working in the field carry spare parts with them so someone was able to be at my house a few hours later, fixed my door in a few minutes and replaced one other small item (which he didn't even charge me for!) and I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone.

I left a message for Bedford over the weekend. They called me on Monday and had someone look at the garage door opener Monday morning. I approved the work and they installed the new opener within a couple of days (they would have done it right then and there but they didn't have one on the truck). The tenant was pleased at the speed with which the work was done. I have used Bedford for over 15 years for our personal home and rental properties. They are very responsive, reasonably priced, and above all, they do very high quality work. I would recommend them to all.

This is a family owned business. I told the installer what I needed over the phone. He asked me what kind of model garage door opener I had, and he quickly determined what kind of outdoor keypad would or would not work. He showed up at the appointed time, worked quickly, explained how to program the keypad, and even lubricated the garage door when he heard it squeaking.
