About us
I got my start after getting my R.O.P. cert for refrigeration, heating, and A/C. B&R Appliance on State St, in Carlsbad hired me with that in hand, I always enjoyed fixing things and was good at it, now I'm getting paid for something I really enjoy doing, how cool! In 1982 B&R closed their doors, Appliance Care was born. I retained some of my old customers and worked with many local realtors, property management companies, apartment managers, and the business grew. I moved out of my home Office to 505 S. Santa Fe Ave, across the street from the big Drews' Appliance. There I rebuilt and sold used appliances, as my business grew I moved my shop/office to 2588 Progress St. where I started doing mainly high end factory service, and was Dacor, Asko, Meila, Fisher/Paykel, DCS, LG, Insinkerator, Turbo Chef recommended. Now it's 2016 with my own in my home business, and a new office manager, Lisa... Full circle and very grateful for all!
