I had taken the 04 Honda Accord to another shop for a diagnostic. Though it was cheaper, by almost half, they said they couldn't find the problem and would need to run several more tests, possibly another 200-300, to find a fix. This shop has a great reputation (even has a weekly radio show), all the latest equipment, supposedly well trained techs. I didn't have the funds at the time.  a few weeks later, I decided to try Zylstra's.  They found the problem immediately (diagnostic=$139) and had it fixed in a couple hours. Total bill was $288. The only downside to the experience is their "bedside" manner. No smiles, no "hello", no chit chat.  Just tell me what you want. Sign here. Done.  The same mechanical attitude when I picked it up.  When I had gone in to make the appt., I almost walked out because of the cold atmosphere. In the end, the car runs great. And I only had to talk to the service mgr for ten minutes.  I will return when I need any more engine work done.

They diagnose my truck for low power. They found the turbo bad. Replaced turbo and some other small stuff . Truck never as ran so good. Was done on time too.

The shop manager and service technician were very helpful, friendly, and conscientious. They did an excellent and thorough service for a fair price. They had to take extra time fixing a leak at the seal of my truck's transmission pan. They did not charge more for the extra time spent. I would take my truck there for future repairs.
