I moved from Houston to California . The relocation company contracted United Van Lines for the move. The pack up and loading was sufficient however I needed United to store my goods for 30 days upon arrival in California. That is where it all went south. 30 days later when my goods were delivered they looked like they had literally been thrown into big wooden crates. I could not believe my eyes as they open crate after crate as to what I saw. Just a huge jumble of what was once my prize possessions. My furniture scratched, dented, doors wedged shut, broken legs on my sofa, packing tape wound around cabinets that pulled the finish off when removed, same with my leather upholstered chairs, the list goes on. I have moved 4 times in the last 10 years. I have never experienced such total disregard for another persons belongings.
