We were very pleased to hire Cornerstone Home Improvement in Visalia to do some much needed repairs and improvements for our home. Gilbert Cortez, the owner, was very prompt in answering our call and setting up an appointment with us to find out what our needs were. He gave a very fair estimate and was able to begin work within two weeks of our initial call. The projects he did included: repair of a bathroom wall that had water damage, replacement of baseboards in about 3/4's of the house, interior painting of about 3/4's of the house, replacing two bathroom exhaust fans, installing ceiling fan in patio, wiring an outdoor electric outlet box, and a few other minor projects. Gilbert and his crew were very easy to work with, did a professional job, and kept a very clean work site. What is nice is that he and his crew can do most any home project (new additions, remodeling, roofing, plumbing, electrical, painting and much more). We were glad not to have to call on several other companies to do different projects. Fair pricing, excellent work and responsiveness to what you want done are very appreciated. We have several other projects we want done in the future and will certainly call on Cornerstone again.

Initially we hired Gilbert to take a look at the water damage on our roof. We were living in Ohio at the time, and Gilbert went to the house, got on the roof and took pictures of the damage and then sent them to us so we could see it. He then repaired all of that before we even moved and sent us pictures of the repaired roof! He has also installed the gas line for our dryer, the gas line for our stove top, and installed the stove top and range. Gilbert has taken care of many things for us, and we are having him back to repair some more wood rot on the outside of our home. He is extremely dependable and we definately plan on using him in the future. He is also very honest. He was going to charge us for something but then didnt end up needing to do it, so he took the charge off. I feel like some people wouldn't be honest like that.
