We?d discussed adding solar before, so I have to admit I was
skeptical about the promised savings at first. I was concerned we?d just
be adding a substantial amount to our mortgage, with no real benefit.
We?d already tried the mylar sandwich in the attic, and I still can?t say
definitively whether it helped.
Then one day my husband Mike came home from the barber talking about
solar. Frank was totally sold on Charlie Klint. And Mike convinced
me we should check him out. Our investments guy further confirmed the
choice when he told us AirSun is the only solar company they invest in as a
firm. We set an appointment for the AirSun crew to come out and do an
assessment, an audit, to determine best placement, mapping any shade that might
fall on our roof year-round, as well as the number of (AMERICAN MADE!) panels
for our square footage. Thorough is an understatement!
Buying, rather than leasing, the system was the best option for us,
giving us the tax credits, rather than AirSun, something Charlie was the first
to point out. In the 2 days it took to install our system, I don?t recall
ever seeing the guys sit down!
Now we have a small, set, payment to the credit union each month
instead of some wildly fluctuating amount to a power company. To them, we
write a check for between 1.10, yes, that?s one dollar and 10 cents, and $1.77,
which is not actually usage but a tax. We?ve received refund checks from them
on both of our installation anniversaries. And last but not least,
Charlie really WILL write you a check if you refer a friend who installs a
system!
We could not have asked for a better experience! THANKS Charlie,
Scott, Sofia, and the rest of the installation crew! Air Sun is AMAZING!
