I called to schedule a electrician a week before the service date, I asked about pricing and fees and was told until the eletricIan did the job they couldn't provide me with any estimates. The eletricIan arrived at 7:15 am set in front of my house 15 minutes before knocking on my door, didn't even bring a junction box, even though that's what he was coming to install, left came back 15 minutes later with the part, installed it then left 30 minutes later. A week later I received a bill totaling 177.69, this was 1.5 hours of labor at 95.00 hour, 5.19 for the junction box and 30 for just showing up or service call. I was shocked 30 minutes of actual work was so much. When I contacted A-C eletric regarding the bill I was told then although I asked this question when I first called and wasn't told that they charge hourly what is called port to port until the job is done, this means from the time they leave the shop to go to your house or job until they return to their shop you are charged even if they don't bring the junction box or part with and have to go back and get it you are charged for their error, or is this a good way to pad the bill? Even though I asked upon scheduling an appointment I was never told of this practice or of the $30 service fee. Although the job was done adequately I feel ripped off. I will not use them again, I feel they are not honest and find ways to run up your bill.
