My next door neighbor had Curb Pro perform almost the same service using the same pavers on the same day. Curb Pro took care to make our two patios look seamless, despite a fence between our units. Curb Pro ( Mahlon Lewis, aka Mac) never offered a list of options (like sealing, higher grade pavers, etc.) . Nor did Mac offer a written contract or warranty. He did provide a (unsigned, of course) four line email on 5/2/2016 which noted the paver warranty (three years) and Curb Pro's installation warranty (one year). The email was eventually provided only because I complained. He had promised the email on the day the work was done (4/7/2016). My feeling is that even though my job was apparently small by Mac's standards, professionalism demands that a written contract and a written list of options be offered to the consumer before the work is accomplished and the bill is paid. Shame on me for paying him before receiving at least a written warranty. The product (I hope), the installation, and the timeliness of the work performed were very good. I would recommend Curb Pro for similar jobs, but only if signed contracts are provided before the work is done. An option list should also be part of the process. If the paperwork is too much trouble for such small jobs, then Curb Pro should not solicit small jobs. The California address was unknown to me until today. Curb Pro's estimate shows only a 32934 address and a 321 area code.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of old pavers and vegetation from my 300 SF condo patio, prepared the subsurface, installed new pavers, and covered the paver seams with polymeric sand (a $100 upgrade).
