1) very unresponsive owner with regards to rework
2) very shoddy work, including trying to the very bare minimum each time
3) thousands of dollars for very simple work that a handyman could complete for very little

They were very professional and very accommodating to my schedule.  The sites were dug up, sprayed, and burried. 

They were okay, but they kept telling me that I had to open an Escrow when I just wanted to pay by cash, so that was a little frustrating.  I did open Escrow and that delayed things a couple of days, but they did the work fine.  They finally got me what I needed, but it just took a little longer than I would have hoped for.  They usually work through an Escrow company, so I think it was an unusual request for them.  I don’t think it was particularly their fault, I just don’t think they understood what I needed upfront.  They did the work professionally and then came back and got it cleaned up pretty fast, so I thought that was fine.  I paid maybe $495, but of course they come out for free to do the inspection.  They were not perfect, but were very close.  I felt that the price was a little high for the work that they did.  They did try to get what I needed.

I was selling my home and had another company come to give me a termite estimate. The other company (Antimite??) spent about 5 minutes looking around before coming to the conclusion that I should tent the house at a cost of some $3,600. (Not to mention the inconvenience of bagging up your food and vacating the house.) In other words, it wasn't an inspection, it was a sales pitch.

Tri-Pacific was the opposite. The inspector spent the better part of an hour poking at the woodwork, looking under the house, giving the place a thorough once-over. When they came back with an estimate, it was detailed and completely reasonable -- $1,100. No tenting was required. There were just a couple of areas of termite infestation and a few areas where the wood was rotted and needed to be replaced (to avoid termites in the future). They did the work promptly, were clean, courteous, professional and did a great job.

But there was a problem. The owner of the company came to inspect toward the end of the job and found an area of termite infestation that had been missed in both the estimate and repairs. He talked with me personally, showed me where it was and explained that he felt he had to make the additional repairs -- whether I paid for them or not. He was going to stick with his original estimate, but just do several days more work. I was so impressed with his integrity and the fantastic work done by this company that I agreed to pay an extra amount -- essentially at the company's cost -- for the additional work. 

I have hired them to do the inspection and work on the house I'm buying and would recommend them, without any reservation, to anyone needing termite inspections or repairs. 

The service date is probably not accurate since we used Tri Pacific last year (when they did their initial exam of our property). They were just super professional and accommodating. They were honest about what truly needed to be done so that we wouldn't break the bank. And when we told them we would be drywalling our garage (which is where the spraying needed to be done) they came back to check and spray again (free of charge)just to be sure everything was taken care of. We will definitely be using them again.

Top notch. I am a real estate agent and have use Tri Pacific multiple times, and will continue to do so. They are thorough, conscientious and genuinely nice guys. I have them work on clients properties as well as my own.

Tri-Pacific Termite Co are very thorough, responsive, and have an excellent quality of work. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

The gentleman who came was very helpful and professional. He was also very thorough. He gave me a good quote that I would have taken him up on if others things didn't come up. He was very friendly and would talk with me about what he was looking at and what were some things that were or were not signs of termites. He was also on time.

The gentleman who came out was very courteous and knowledgeable. He was very specific about the hazards of the chemicals with pets and children. He showed up on time.

They were excellent. We were very pleased with the results of their work. They were conscientious; they also documented all modifications with photos. They were on time and cleaned up well. They were polite, considerate.

THEY WERE HARD WORKERS. THEY ALSO WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND THEY GOT RID OF ALL THE TERMITES IN OUR PREMISES. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SPRAYING THE CHEMICALS. THEY WERE ON TIME AND ALL THE WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE.
