Williams Refrigeration & Appliance Repair

Went to the Williams location and they were not there. The guy next door said that he had retired.

We had other things go wrong with it and they were very helpful and got it working like new.  They were very friendly and I would highly recommend them.

This went very badly.  First they came, barely looked at the freezer and decided we needed a new motherboard.  More than a week later, they finally called that they had the part.  The came and replaced the motherboard - not a word about our icemaker/dispenser not working, and they failed to bring a replacement shelf that had cracked.  Either they hadn't noticed it was broken, or they just didn't care.  A day or two after replacing the motherboard, they did call to follow up (they had said it would take a day for the new motherboard to cycle).  Nothing had changed.  Additionally, they frequently didn't arrive during their estimated timeslot. 
A few days later they returned with a data logger and plugged it into our freezer.  When they came to pick it up, they said nothing...  We expected a follow up call to tell us what else was needed.  Instead, they called and said they believed that my husband must have tampered with the device!  They said it was all "scrambled" and they were taking themselves off the job and we should contact the manufacturer.  So now we've paid $350 and nothing is improved or changed except we are extremely upset.  This company had several A ratings on Angie's list, but I don't know how that could be.

My dishwasher smelled like it had a burned out motor, and I spent considerable time debating whether to replace or repair it. I'm glad I called Williams Refrigeration and Appliance Repair as he was able to fix it in short order and for very little money (it turned out the motor was not burned out after all). Plus, my gas dryer was squealing, so he did a complimentary check up and lubrication on it as well. I have used this company in the past to repair my gas range. I highly them and they will continue to be my first choice in appliance repair.

We've used them for twenty years and have always been pleased. They apply the charge of the initial service call to the repair.

I called Williams Refrigeration and Appliance Repair to fix my washing machine on Tuesday 1/19/10. They sent someone out the same day I called. The water level switch was faulty. The repairman thought he had fixed it without having to order new parts. However, it turned out to be a temporary fix. I called Williams Refrigeration and Appliance Repair again and they said they would have to order a part. They gave me an estimate on the phone, I accepted that and they said they would contact me when the part was in. 5 days later I still hadn't heard anything so I called them. Someone had ordered the wrong part and now it was going to be another week. Yet nobody would have told me this if I hadn't called them to check on my status. Every time I did call, the young man that answered the phone always appeared clueless and would tell me that he'd have to check on the status of my order and call me back and then he NEVER called me back. I always had to call them. When the part finally came in on 2/1/10, they made me wait another 2 days for an appointment - then they scheduled me for an afternoon appointment. By this time I've been without a washer for 2 weeks and they make me wait 2 more days AFTER my part is in and then schedule me for an AFTERNOON appt. My washer was finally fixed on 2/3/10 By then I had 15 days worth of laundry. When I did get my washer fixed, the final bill was $40 more than quoted to me on the phone. I refuted that extra charge and it was dropped. The same thing had happened when I called them the first time. I was told the service call is $69.50 and that amount would be deducted from any charges incurred. I was charge $89.50 even though no parts were replaced that day. I do have to say that the repairman that came to my home was excellent. Extremely thorough and knowledgable.

This is the third time we used Williams, and as always, the service was outstanding! They had done a repair on our built-in microwave for us a year ago (actually, exactly 1 year and 10 days), and it broke again 10 days after the warranty expired. They came promptly and repeated the repair, and even though the warranty had expired, they performed the work at no charge, without us even asking! They are always prompt, professional, and pleasant. I wouldn't let anyone else work on my appliances!!!

I have had great luck with them. They replaced some parts for the refrigerator and he cleaned all the coils and told me what needed to be done. Their prices are reasonable and they come when they say they will and are very informative.

They showed up on time. They got job done quickly. They answered any questions we had. They were very pleasant to deal with. They were friendly and helpful.

I called Ken back to let him know that his suggestion has solved the issue and saved me a service call. He was please with the call back - that that didn't happen too often. I assured him I would write a great review on Angies List. I will call this company for any of my appliance repairs and will recommend them to friends and family!!! PS: The other company I called - there was a sticker on my washing machine, did not try to solve the issue for me over the phone - they just wanted to set up a service call. Williams Refrigeration & Appliance Repair rocks!!!!

We have a Refrigerator in a rental unit on which the door would not close. We called Williams Refrigeration and they were polite, willing to give a quote over phone. They sent out a repairman that per my tenants, was polite, knowledgeable, and performed the work in a timely manner. He called me to OK the work prior to repairs and explained that the door gasket was not only torn, but there was a pivot cam at the bottom of the door which was also broken and needed to be repaired in order the straighten the door which was also warped. Additionally, He also said that he would educate the tenants in how to maintain the refrigerator. The Tenants reported to me that they were pleased with the repairs and whole experience in general. Williams did give an "Angie's List" discount. They were a pleasure to deal with.

WILLIAMS APPLIANCE CAME OUT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF MY INITIAL CALL TO MAKE A REPAIR TO MY DISHWASHER. THEY WERE FAIR AND HONEST IN THE REPAIR WORK DONE AND I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN.
