This was the last window in my home to be replaced by West Coast Sash & Door.  This has been an ongoing project since 2006, always using this company, when I began replacing the old windows with vinyl dual-paned.  All the staff at West Coast Sash & Door have been great throughout the years and do so highly recommend this company for all customers' window and door needs.  I love their professionalism and sincerity. 

My final window install project was to replace a very old window in the garage.  West Coast installed an obscure-glass window that works so well that a window covering for privacy isn't needed.  It allows much more light into the garage, too.        

It was done quickly and very cleanly.  With all the other projects they've done, they always pick up after themselves and always leave the work areas, inside the home and out, clean and clear of any debris, screws, nails, dust, etc.  This last project over the new garage work bench area was no different.   

Cannot go wrong hiring this company.  May be a little bit pricier than other window companies but as the saying goes, "We get what we pay for."   Worth every penny. 

We chose WCSD because they were helpful, knowledgeable, prompt, responsive, and efficient. They have a nice big showroom in an industrial park in Ventura.  Susan spent close to an hour with us at their showroom explaining features and pros and cons. She also had some good suggestions too.  She gave us a rough estimate based on the measurements that we brought with us.  A couple of days later, Armando, the field supervisor, came to our house to confirm the measurements and shortly thereafter we received an email with the final proposal.  Once we accepted their proposal, we agreed on a start date.  Armando and his crew arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. and worked efficiently the entire day.  The following day Armando got the building permit from the City while his crew finished up.  Everything went smoothly, they cleaned up nicely, and we are now enjoying our new windows. To sum up, WCSD delivered great customer service from the time we walked into the showroom to the time they finished the work.  We went to a couple of other places first.  One place pushed their expensive high end manufacturer and they refused to give me an estimate based on the my measurements.  Another place did give me a rough estimate, which was less than WCSD, but we would have to subcontract for installation. WCSD was not the cheapest (probably in the middle) but I would use them again when we retrofit the windows for the rest of the house because of their great customer service, they do the installation, and they guarantee the work.

Everyone at west coast sash and door were great. Armando was great and installed my beautiful simonton winows in less than 5 hours. They also put my blinds back up after the windows were installed. I will definately call them back when I need a new front door. Thanks again!

From the first contact I had with West Coast Sash and Door, they were responsive and interested in how to help me with my project.  I located them on Angie's list and there was a lower than expected review and yet when talking with WCSD owner Arlene about it was clear to me that there are two sides to every story, and that she is a sincere, honest business woman.  She is a wonderful, kind woman that is very interested in her customers, and in providing overall satisfaction with any project.  Her staff have worked for her for a long time (good sign) and are very reliable.   Early on I was given a lot of very useful information about what to consider.  A mid range price was in my budget and the best windows for the money (Millguard) were recommended and I love them.  There were many products to consider. 
The time in the showroom picking out the final windows, doors and hardware was time consuming and Felicia was extremely patient with me as I changed my mind more than once and she took time to land on the specific combinations I wanted.  It was worth the time and I am so very pleased with how it all looks.  She is experienced and offered facts that I could consider to make my own choice.  No pressure.   She is a great listener (which I consider a tremendous business skill) and she was supportive in making sure I had what I wanted at a reasonable price.  They are not the least expensive outfit to work with, and yet they are willing to offer pricing flexibility when it is possible.  Felicia was also clear when it was not possible, again an honest review of choices for me to consider.  This was a significant plus for me and a reason to go back!  Doing business with WCSD was well worth the money I paid.  The quality and experience WCSD brings to the table is worth it.   They are full service and this is so valuable.   
Rick and the installation crew are amazing and I have never had doors that work so well, are so balanced, and stay put solidly.  They oepn and close beautifully and it is fun to sometimes just open and close them to marvel at the quality workmanship.  The install was quick, efficient, and excellent quality.  The crew were courteous and clean.  I could not be happier with their professional manner.  Everything that was promised with the install was done and on time.
I can recommend West Coast Sash and Door without reservation.  The doors and windows have made an extraordinary difference in the look, feel and temperature of this house, which had old single pane windows originally.   From beginning to end this replacement project was a pleasure for me.  That says a lot for them!

We looked at all the home improvement stores in the area and a few door
warehouse places online and couldn't make any decisions. We saw West
Coast Sash and Door on a Google search so thats how we found them. They
have a very nice store with many beautiful doors of every kind on
display. If you don't find exactly what your looking for, they'll show
you other examples in a catalog and also explain everything you need to
know about the type of door that would work for you. We got a quick
education on the difference of materials for doors. The staff is very
knowledgeable, friendly and most of all not pushy.  We were sent home
with a few catalogs to help us decide on style and color and then once
we decided, they sent an estimate to look over. Once our door was
ordered, it took about 6 weeks. Deliveries vary I'm sure depending on
styles. In the meantime our installer Armando gave us a call and then
came by to measure and estimate the installation. He finally installed
the door and we can't say enough about the quality and craftsmanship of
the door and how it was installed. We had the whole entry rebuilt
including threshold, framing and stucco. Even the stucco person who came
later did a fantastic job matching. We are so happy with everything
about the door and how it looks once installed.

We received estimates from 3 local companies for this work. All of the bids were similar in timeframe, work effort and cost. We chose WCSD based on their overall knowledge of the work to be performed, past experience and solution for our home.
We contacted WCSD and had an estimate prepared by Armando Hernandez (Field Operations Manager) within several days. The estimate provided was very complete and unlike the other estimates offered several options with regard to the window supplier. After some review, we decided that WCSD provided us with the best option. After selecting a supplier that we were comfortable with, an installation date was set for 12/19/12. Given the rainy weather, we were not sure that this date would hold up. However, much to our surprise WCSD was right on schedule and started the effort on 12/19 as promised.
All we can say at this point is that we are very pleased with the overall effort. Armando and his crew were very professional and the installed windows more than meet our expectations. The work was performed in 2+ days. The end product was exactly what was bid and what we expected. I would definitely use WCSD in the future and plan on using them for some additional work in the future.

Wonderful, they promptly came out and took all the necessary measurements and had the estimate to me within one day. It took two weeks for them to custom fabricate the window and they came in and they had it installed in two hours. They did a wonderful job 100% satisfied.

The entire job went from start to finish with no problems, issues or obstacles whatsoever. These guys were great!

I like that they own their own shop and do not sub out the work. I like that they have been in business for a long time and they were diligent in getting the work done. The foreman was good at communicating and kept the lines of communication open. They were able to do the work in about three days. The work was done to code. They did have to come back to do a little fix-it job, but they were on it and it got done. I like that all of the painting was done at their shop and not at my home. They respected our home and our property. Everyone was professional.

There were two people and they did very good work. I made the appointment two weeks in advance and it took only 1 day to do the job. They were very professional and well dressed.

WE LIKED THIS COMPANY. THEY HAD A LARGE VARIETY OF DOORS AND STYLES TO CHOOSE FROM. WE WERE ABLE TO PICK ONE OUT AND HAVE IT INSTALLED WITHIN A TWO WEEK PERIOD.
