We had previous plumbers do the video work, and were told by both that we'd have to replace the sewer, which would run thousands of dollars. At the recommendation of yet another plumber, we called Roto Rooter.
Ron was able to schedule work for the same day. He and the technician Danny came out with both the camera and a heavy duty cleaning machine. When they found roots in the drain, they were able to auger the pipe right then and there, alternating between the camera and the auger until it was either clear or needing bigger guns. Having both pieces of equipment on hand made it very quick and convenient. Danny was extremely persistent with the auger and was able to clear all but one set of roots. Normally this would require digging up and replacing the section of pipe, but Ron and Danny returned the next morning with a high pressure water blaster that cleared the last roots. We are now compliant with the city.
We had to pay separately for the video, the cleaning, and the high pressure blasting, but even adding in the costs of the other plumbers' camera work, it was still far less expensive than replacing the sewer, which the others said was the only other option.
Ron and Danny are thoroughly professional and knowledgeable, and are very nice people as well. I am very impressed with Danny's persistence that almost got us the entire way through the sewer. He really hung in there. Kudos to Danny!
I am also impressed that they were so prompt, and when it was found that the blaster was needed, they were there the very next morning. They also made sure they didn't come until after 9 am, so the neighbors wouldn't be disturbed. That was very considerate.
I can't say enough good things about them. I will be using them again when needed, for both drain clearing and plumbing work, and recommend them highly to anyone.

Commode and bath tub are working very well.

We had a leak in the bathroom plumbing that ruined our floors and got into the walls. We had another plumber come out and replaced a hose part. However, about two weeks later, we woke up to a sopping wet hallway and called Roto Rooter. The man came out as promised on time, and pretty much immediately found the cause of the problem, which was a newly replaced valve that was faulty, and replaced it. He also did extensive detective work on other plumbing for us and advised us that it was plumbing that was no longer even legal to build that way. It is an older mobile home build back east somewhere. Pretty soon we need to replace all the plumbing, but for now our problem was solved, and we were able to make repairs to the walls and floors and have not had a speck of trouble since. Very good experience, Roto Rooter showed up quickly, was friendly and professional, and even helped adjust the pipes underneath the sink to help prevent blockage in the future.

Fantastic! I emailed them from their website at 7:30 a.m. and got a phone call and email confirming an appointment at 8:30 a.m. within two minutes. Two guys, Steve and a man he was training, arrived on time and spent an hour checking everything out and explaining everything to me. They cleared two bathroom drains and sent over their truck to pump my septic tank out.

They were fast. They were very knowledgeable. They had great response time. The workers were very polite and professional. I would recommend them to others.
