Excellent. Mitch was responsible and reliable, He worked with us every step of the process. The remodel was very complex but Mitch handled everything detail to our complete satisfaction.

My husband and I have hired Mitch Swanson over the years. He has always done exceptional work. He is honest and prides himself in a job well done. Mitch was always on time and did what was agreed. On occasion he did additional jobs as needed with out added money. He was clean and we were able to live comfortable without any inconvenience. We highly recommend Mitch Swanson Construction.

During the remodeling project my mother was very stressed and actually had a stroke. He kept the house in complete disarray for a long period of time. The 2 1/2 bath house only had 1 working toilet and the rest of the house was a mess. While she was convalescing in a nursing home I (her son) insisted he focus on her room so it was complete when she returned. During this time he was demanding large sums of money from my mother for unnecessary reasons. I took power of attorney on my mothers behalf and maintained control and questioning of this contractor and the process and progress of the remodeling. We came to a major argument at one point and he quit. I ultimately hired an attorney. I hired an attorney who's focus was on contracting services. At this point he had collected $197,000 and claimed that the job was 90%. It was not even 48%. The settlement agreement was that he was to complete the project but he never returned. This resulted in my going to his bond company and the licensing board with the information. I advised them that the State of California was involved at this time and they paid the $12,500 bond to me, which was all he had available. It didn't cover what he left me with in costs but it was better than nothing. I hired a contracting company at this time that was able to clean up his mess and complete the job properly. As a side note: that was Curtis Construction and they were a godsend to me and they only charged me half of the actual cost of what was left uncompleted.
