Replaced overdrive switch in shift lever

Our family has gone to Bill's for a long time, and he is the best in town with good prices. The service is prompt and friendly.

I am a transplant into Ventura and left my very trusted Honda mechanic in Goleta (Robert Dimauro's Automotive). I still drive up there for major jobs on my 1999 Acura, however inconvenient. He has worked on all of my cars for over 30 yrs. I needed to find a reputable mechanic locally.
I found Bill Hahn's Automotive through Yelp with excellent reviews, so we brought our Ford truck as well as my Acura to his shop for services. While I don't doubt that his mechanical skills are excellent and prices reasonable, overall trust worthy. Another important criteria in my opinion is his responsiveness and follow through with his promises.
Bill told me my Acura would be needing a timing belt and he would get back to me with a quote. I had to called him two more times to find out what that quote would be, both times he told me he needed to look up the price and would call me back. I could detect from his tone that he did not have time. He took down my phone number again; I and quot;NEVERand quot; heard from him. Obliviously, he did not need my business. I understand he is extremely busy as I can see from the vast array of cars parked in his property. However, I find it inexcusable for his unprofessionalism.
For this reason, I WILL NOT be using his services any longer. I can find other good mechanics in Ventura.

I have used Bill Hahn for the past 15 years. I trust him completely. He is on the expensivve side for an oil change, and you have to leave the car with him which is a little inconvenient, but it is worth it. I can call him about a problem and discuss it on thephone, or he will look into something immediately if it is a safety issue. In the long run, he is cheaper because he does so much and stands by his work completely.

It saved me having to get some new parts. I've been seeing him for nearly 30 years. He's completely trustworthy and I would definitely recommend him to others.
