+ -1 moreI had been living with broken and leaky fixtures in my kitchen and shower for some time. I even had duct tape holding in big leaks in my master bath show fixture. My toilets were those low to ground kind that are hard to get off of for painful bad backs and those old things that didn't flush everything with one flush and used too much water. My kitchen faucet was a peeling paint, rusting, leaking and generally falling apart. Being a senior with a fixed income, I had to tenaciously save for all these repairs and I was not looking forward to finding a plumber that would not overcharge me and do all I needed to do hap-hazzardly. I knew of Alex through a drain service who sent him out one day as a sub-contractor for my emergency situation. He was a licensed, bonded plumber. I was impressed and saved his contact information. Thanks goodness I did. I now have a new "forever" plumber who is what I term, "exclusively mine!"
Description of Work: Alex was extremely knowledgable and had immediate suggestions where I was hesitant. He installed one new toilet and fixed another new one a previously plumber left installed incorrectly. He put on two new seat covers....the wonderful whisper close type, two new shower heads, a great new kitchen faucet and under sink water filter, snaked some pipes, put in a new water pressure valve to replace one that was done wrong several years ago which was causing problems, replaced a rusted valve at my main water line and another water outlet pipe in my backyard, repaired two leaky faucets in one bathroom and even gave me a fantastic design suggestion for my master bath remodeling which I am planning for down the road. The kitchen faucet I chose was too big and hindered by a window shelf that was too wide. Alex said, no problem, he would remove the shelf and cut it back a couple of inches and he did that, amazingly fast and perfect. The faucet then fit just right and I couldn't even tell my shelf was a little narrower. There were a couple of little things that I wanted corrected. One of the toilet seats was a little off to one side and a plastic bolt cover wasn't on quite straight on one toilet. I pointed those out and he immediately took responsibility for it and fixed it instantaneously to where it was perfect. Alex answers his phone immediately, is quick to respond and does excellent work. Prices were extremely reasonable and he took plenty of time with me to shop for what products I wanted. I have never worked with such an excellent plumber in all my 48 years of living in this house who goes that extra mile to make sure I am happy.
