Potter Mallis – Mission Statement – 2011 Times are changing, and the future of design and construction is upon us.  Sustainable building has brought a new conscientious consumer to the market, one who understands quality and appreciates total commitment to the project at hand.    The days of the tool belt contractor are trending toward extinction and at Potter Mallis we intend to change that. The modern day contractor has morphed into an urban legend, turning into one who provides stress and frustration to all those they work with.   Potter Mallis wants to reverse this trend and is focused on the revival of the tool belt contractor.  We understand the attention required to give our clients the unique results we are working together to achieve.  We are an open source platform, as we look forward to the input of our partners and understand the value of communication in achieving the success we work hard to achieve.   Potter Mallis prides itself on our craftsmanship, sustainability, and dedication to each and every project.    Based in Venice, California, Potter Mallis is a boutique design and construction firm at the heart of the sustainable building movement. They sounded like they would be really good people to work with but they were high and beyond my budget. It wasn't unreasonable but it was beyond my budget. They were very qualified and very good. I was happy to have known them and I would use them another time but I got a lower bid. They were very professional and very pleasant. I would have been happy to have done business with them.

Their customer service is excellent. they were very responsive to my calls and emails. they were quick to set a date to to do the job and very accommodating to my needs when I needed to change the date. They did a very nice job on the storage cabinets. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs carpentry/wood work

I don't have enough great things to say about Potter Mallis. They were extremely professional from the start and provided me with excellent ideas and service. From the first walk-through, Todd had great suggestions that helped to make the finished product excellent. Todd helped me design the kitchen at IKEA, and had some great solutions to work in my tight space. They were good at helping me mix less expensive materials with higher end materials, and understanding the need to keep costs down. Their work is first rate, they were very communicative (yes, really), and they are easy to work with. I also really appreciated that one of them was always at the job site. I recommend them highly.
