I've been using him for large and small jobs around my house here in Venice for over 30 years. I've never had anything, but good experiences. He has been honest dealing with fair prices. He's licensed. He's also certified for green construction and for earthquake proofing, not completely, but building the house to the foundation. He doesn't cheat out on the price. I would never use anybody else.
