I found another place closer and cheaper.

Hard to say an unplanned $2400 car repair is ever a good experience, but I guess it could have been a whole lot worse... Steve is very knowledgable about the cars issues. Very good about explaining and showing the problems. He and his sons run the business and performed all repair except alignment. The price was a shocker, but a lot of unexpected work was performed. We went there because of crunching noises when breaking, and intermittant air conditioning problems. Steve drove the car, and said he doubted there was a problem, but after putting the car on a lift and inspecting he was surprised the brakes were so bad. That led to the control arms, then the motor mount and axle as he worked on the car. He showed us all of the failed parts before replacing anything or performing any work. He explained everything, and was obviously passionalte (talkative) about his work. The work took 2 full days to complete and he kept us abreast of progress several times along the way.His sons came to pick us up upon completion of the work. We were shocked at the price, but after checking on-line for the work we had done, his price seems fair. Negative: there is no waiting room. Place is pretty grimey with no place for waiting customers. Be ready to take a walk! Would definitely use him again!

Engine codes were explained clearly so I knew what the problems were likely to be and the cost for fixing them. Work was done on schedule with very good communication from Steve (the owner) so I knew what was happening at all times. Dome light, which I asked him to check to see if it could be repaired inexpensively, was cleaned and repaired without charge. The dealer had quoted me $600 to replace the entire fixture.

He checked it out and decided there was nothing wrong so it was free. The visit was excellent. He was extremely honest and when he found nothing, he didn't charge me.

It was great. I would recommend them to the other members. Their quality of service was very good, and they were knowledgeable and honest.

Steve, aside from being very qualified for the position with a medical background, was sincere, honest, and friendly. He ran some tests on my car and despite its need for repair, he did not try to sell me anything of force me into any charges. He checked the lines and areas of the car that I was unfamiliar and showed me the process so I could make the checks in the future. It was clear that he wanted me to be happy and leave with a car that worked. I will come back to these guys for sure.

He's a little more expensive than other people. He's very honorable and he is very good. He's very honest and won't try to get money out of you for pointless things. I'll ride my bike to his shop and he's such a nice man if it's raining or something he would give me a ride home.

Steve is the head mechanic. He is thorough and has reasonable prices. He was recommended on the car talk web site.
