other plumbers I called were not interested in assisting with this device because of the lack of installation instructions so they didn't know what to do. Craig was great. He did his research the best he could and gave me the missing steps I need to take in order to finally get this device put in. I am so excited to finally order the missing link piece and have Craig come back to install the device properly. He really gave his time to me on this problem. He definitely went above and beyond. I will be keeping Craig on my cell for all plumbing/handyman issues moving forward.

I called Craig because my driveway gate literally blew-off during the past high winds. Craig got back to me right away and was right on time to do the work. He gave me an estimate and I hired him on the spot. He is very professional, friendly, and his prices are very reasonable. Best of all, he knows what he's doing. Craig has been doing repair work for us for the last 8-9 years. He has fixed almost everything in the house at this point! He is great at troubleshooting and coming up with creative solutions to problems, including ideas on how to give a facelift to a tired table or armoire. I also rely on him for selection of paint colors and placement of pictures! We have a fence that would have already come down by now if it weren't for his ingenuity hard work. He never flinches when I change course and pile on items to my 'list'. We can't recommend him highly enough, even though we are afraid of him becoming too busy for us!!!!

While he has been here I have asked him for suggestions on future projects and he has always given me great advice. Leading up to the day of the appointment, I always seem to have questions and concerns (usually that we might need a particular device or component) and Craig always calls me back or emails me promptly. Craig is well organized and plans everything in advance. While he is here he is doing the work which saves me money and time. He works within my schedule (I often have to leave at a designated time) and he always finishes the work on time. I found Craig on Angie's List right after I purchased my Condo in the Spring of 2012 and have hired him ever since. I thought I had found a great handyman to do a number of jobs around our new house, including some carpentry work and changing out of a door. He was fine about coming to the house and going over the potential projects step by step. He gave us an estimate and we coordinated when he could do the work. After some back and forth over e-mail about installing an exterior entry door to our garage as the first project, I thought we were good to go. I guess I asked too many questions though, and suddenly I get an e-mail that he will be "passing" on all of our projects. I found it to be very unprofessional that we would get so far into the details of the work he would be doing for us, and then he backs out at the last minute. Now we have to start all over again with another person. I simply wish I hadn't wasted so much time with him if I knew he was going to back out.

Wonderful! Craig is a very hard worker. He took his time installing the pocket door hardware because it needed to be so precise. Unfortunately, for him, the first set of new hardware didn't work out due to the poor design of the hardware itself, so we recently had him out again to install newer hardware. Both times, the end result looked great. He's very friendly, easy to get ahold of, and knowledgeable. He will be our regular handyman from now on.

It went very well. He was able to do the job a few days after our phone call. He even repaired an unexpected problem with one of the door casings at no charge. The new doors and repaired casings look beautiful. The price was extremely fair.

The handymand did an excellent job and i was very satisfied with his work. He was friendly, explained the nature of the problem, and completed the work in a very acceptable time frame. Unfortunately, last week, I dropped the remote device and broke it so I need to get in contact with the handyman again. I dont have his phone number but I remember he lived in Venice on Carrol Canal st. Before coming to Angie's List, I've had so many problems finding a professional contractor/handyman to provided me the service I needed. Even since coming to Angie's List I've run into some unprofessional contractors I was hoping to deal with. But for the first time ever I have found me a man that is not only professional and kind, but an overall great guy. Craig Paterson of Handyman Los Angeles, has provided me with the service I was expecting and so much more. His prices are reasonable, he's always on time, he works within the time frame discussed, and his work is always so clean and professionally perfect. He is God sent. I'm so happy I found him. I had a pretty good experience with him and I will use him again. He charges by the hour.

All he did was put nails into the wall to hang the picture which I thought was too simplistic. I've had other picture hangers who put in special hangars and nails that would hold the weight of the picture and would not crack the wallboard/plaster. He also had no opinion on how high the pictures should be. I would have been better off doing the job myself. On the plus side, he came on a Sunday and he was a few minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time.

Craig was absolutely perfect. He was able to help me on the same day, kept in touch regarding his arrival time, arrived on schedule, and worked efficiently and expertly to correct an exterior door that no longer opened completely. He removed the door, planed the surfaces as required, and rehung the door in one hour. Craig is gracious, honest, and competent. I would use him again and recommend him without hesitation.

Craig has been extremely professional and courteous, and his work has been exceptional. He's responsive in returning calls and emails but is sometimes booked 1-2 weeks out (which is probably because many people are interested in working with him). In terms of pricing, I've found that his estimates are exceeding fair (based on a couple comparison quotes i've received from plumbers, etc.). Craig is also good about fixing other ancillary issues that he stumbles upon while working on the main projects. In short, I enjoy working with Craig very much and plan to continue to do so in the future.

He was fine. He was helpful and friendly, although he said he was going to fax me an item but I haven’t heard from him yet. Other than that, it was good.

Craig sticks to the estimate price the best he can. He is easy to talk to. He is really reliable and creative. He also works pretty quickly compared to other people I've hired. He is almost like a perfectionist, so he may have to come out a second time to finish a job and get it done right.
