The hot water heater in our rental house had been turned off while we were looking for a new tenant. When we tried to turn it on, it would not light. We called Alex, who came immediately . He was unable to make the igniter work, so he lit the heater by hand so the tenants would have hot water that evening. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat and ordered a replacement.
Because of a problem with the distributor obtaining the part from the manufacturer, Alex was unable to complete the installation of the new part until almost a month later.
