Solar Art Window Film

The film was installed expertly and quickly. The technician arrived on time and explained the process clearly before beginning. He was careful to move furniture and cover the hardwood floor. We are very happy with the final product.

It went great! My goal was to cut down on the heat blazing in from west facing windows in the summer, but I was very nervous about the product impeding my gorgeous view. The salesman was on time and professional. He gave me samples of two different heat blocking levels to live with for a while before making my decision. I decided to go with the lighter product on my view windows, and darker product on windows facing the neighbors house. 
Veronica in the office was very helpful. The bid was returned within a couple of days, and then she quickly modified it when I decided to add more windows.
The workman was prompt. I was still nervous about my view, so he put the product on one window so I could really see it. Once that was done, my worries were over- it looked great. The workman took his time and was very careful to make everything look nice. The french doors were especially difficult with 30 panes. Apparently it is also more difficult to work with wood frames.
But everything looks fantastic. My view is still beautiful- in some ways it is even clearer because it cuts down on the glare. The view of city lights at night are still nice too, although the product increased the reflective quality of the windows, which means it is harder to see out when the inside lights are on. But once I dim the lights, the view is still sparkling. It is winter, so hard to tell how much it cuts down on the heat, but I can now sit in my favorite spot in the late afternoon without getting too warm.
I may have been able to get this done more cheaply, but in general, you get what you pay for.

It was very professional. They were very happy and very clean. My representative was Bob Mason and he did an outstanding job.

George was the salesman, came out and showed us what the product was, and the choices of tint and UV protection. He measured everything, then he had an estimate sent. He also came to do a test window for us, which was extremely helpful -- we were worried about the tint being too dark. But having the test window helped us decide to do all of the windows -- once we said yes, Michelle in the office called and set us up for an appointment that week (actually, the next day, filling in for a cancellation), and it was all done very quickly. The installer cleaned all the windows first, then applied the film, and then cleaned up the mess afterwards. So far we're very pleased. We haven't had really hot days yet, but we have a lot of south-western facing windows with no shade at all, and the top floor windows create a greenhouse effect. We can already tell the difference. It's a 'touch' darker inside, but I suspect we won't be running the AC at full tilt as soon as the hot weather returns months hits. Very happy with the work. 

Our estimator, Blair Organ, was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable.  The two installers arrived on time. They protected our new hardwood floor, were very proficient and careful during the 2-hour cutting and installation process, and completely cleaned up when finished.  They also left me a printed sheet with care instructions for our new film.  About two weeks later, we received a copy of the film warranty by U.S. mail.
The entire process went smoothly, and we are entirely satisfied with the final result.

I had security film installed on al the windows in my home. Looks excellent -- actually, you cant see it at all. George is knowledgeable and trustworthy. There was no ?sales pitch?, just honest information.

I was referred to this company by my window treatment installer who recommended the product as a way to protect my wood floors and window treatments from future sun damage and as a way to reduce the amount of heat that was coming through the windows.
The installation was very professional and well done - the installer showed up on time and answered my questions about the process and how to care for the product going forward.  The product's ability to reduce the amount of heat that was coming through the windows was very noticeable as it was being applied to the windows!

Very happy with the outcome! The price was a bit high, but you get what you pay for :)

Overall I am happy with the service.  Estimate process was quick and Bob was on time.  The actual installation was done week later and he showed up on time.  It took about 4 hours and he was very easy going.  It looks great and I was pleased with their service.  One thing, I was surpise that he did not use mini vac to clean afterward.  It took about 10 to 15 mins. to clean it myself.

Michelle was very friendly & scheduled my estimate / installation.

Bob came and went from the estimate on time.

Renee showed up early (which was a bonus)! He was very friendly & efficient. 

Renee did a great job and cleaned up any remaining debris.

I am very satisfied & will be contacting them for an estimate to tint the windows in my home.

Ariel the installer was the person that came out to my home for the estimate.  I felt very comfortable with his many years of experience and recommendations that I did not even seek out a second estimate (which I normally do for any work I have done on my homes.Upon scheduling the work, I specifically asked to have Ariel do the installation.
They arrived before the scheduled arrival time. Extremely neat and efficient installation.  I asked if he would remove the curtain from the stair window since we would not be needing it anymore and did it.  Went over the care instructions and what to expect of the film as it cures on the window. Outstanding work done by Ariel and his assistant! Would recommend this company to anyone who needs window tinting!

They were very quick and responsive in dealing with this unexpected problem.

Michele is so professional and was my main point of contact. If I had any question or concern, she was quick and courteous to answer them. She scheduled me for an estimate and soon after I scheduled to have the work done. I'm not sure why it took me so long to get this done and now I have the peace of mind that my dog who loves to sunbathe is safe from skin cancer, and my furnishings will be safe from fading and the heat will not be a factor. I would highly recommend Solar Art to anyone who needs to have their home tinted.

I called the Laguna Niguel office and was sent samples of tint to look at by Dawn. I called a week later to have someone come out and give me their professional opinion on what I wanted done and the cost. Gregg McKay (commerical sales manager) came to my home and we discussed the project. I than called the next day to arrange the install. There was a set back and a bump with the installation but Dawn and the installers were very professional and it was completed. The 2 gentleman installers were awesome (sorry I did not get their names) but, they gave me the time frame on how long it would take to complete, they were very professional and cleaned up so great, it looked like I never had a contractor in the house. Overall the experience with Solar Art from start to finish was professional and a very positive experience. I would very much highly recommend them, you won't be sorry.

Solar Art is awesome! Have used them twice in the last 2 months. They removed our 20 year old tint and put up much more heat controling, energy efficient tint on all our front windowns upstairs and down.  Has cooled down our house tremendously which saves on using the air conditioning too. They were prompt, so easy to work with. A great price! Neat and fast. Always able to get a hold of. Truly Knowlegable about their product and their business!!! We highly recommend Solar Art!!!

Excellent.  Pedro was here on time and was very friendly and professional.

Bob Mason, their estimator, was very professional when he was at my home. The technician though did not come prepared, and did not have enough supplies to do the job. He promised me that he would be in touch the very next morning (Saturday), and I did not hear from him.  He did end up leaving a message later that afternoon, letting me know that he would be their between 10-11 on Monday, but that did not work with my schedule.  On Monday day, I  didget in contact him, and I told him that I expected him to be at my house before 9:30 AM.  He did arrive a few minutes early, and the job was completed.  The work that he did was satisfactory, and he cleaned up after himself well.
