They quoted me for $4329.  However, the actual cost was $7647.  I did not opt to pay by weight either, I did it by cubic feet.  They called 2 days before my pickup day to see if they could move it up a day for their convenience and I said no.  They showed up on the 9th to look things over and didn't tell me they were coming.  Four people showed up on the 10th, one of the movers had allergies to my pets so he continued to work outside.  The guy left to do the packing inside was very inexperienced.  He didn't pad the materials in the boxes or label any of the boxes.  Every single box once we arrived was crushed.  Their contract said they offered 30 days free storage.  A manager told me on the phone that it was scheduled.  While I was still driving to Florida, they called and told me that they were there to deliver it.  I explained that couldn't happen and they said that I would have to pay an additional $1800 to get it out of storage.  They wanted me to sign that I received all my materials in good order, but I had no opportunity to look through everything.  The owner actually hung up on me and didn't respond to me for a week while I was trying to get my stuff.  The people that came to unpack the materials, however, did a great job.
