Amazing. I can't believe how much their customer service and just regular service is soooo different than ADT. Wish I would have known about them sooner, I would've switched way earlier. Really amazing and no charge for any service calls. I use them for vacation monitoring too and when my husband was out of town I had them come over and just patrol my house and yard at night to feel safer. Very happy.

BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!
I met with one of their sales people and told him of my needs. He assured me that what I was buying would take care of things. The night vision on these cameras are not good enough to submit to the Police Department. Whatever......I fell for it and I have only myself to blame.....
What I cannot deal with is the fact that I asked this person several times if there were any hidden extras. I was assured that there were not. I was shown that my contract required 2 payments. 1 for 50% down and the other 50% upon completion of installation. This was an absolute lie !!!!! 2 months later I received a bill for more money and my repeated phone calls to the sales person and Office Manager went unanswered. Even the promises from the billing department to look into things delivered no return phone calls. I am paying it today, because I am tired of their automated phone calls but these guys have absolutely no integrity at all.......

Tony Geraets was the salesman. He was great and very thorough. Gene installed the alarms and Dan installed the cameras. One time the alarm went off at our beach house and they contacted me before to let me know the alarm was going off prior to calling the police. They have been wonderful to work with. We can monitor the houses from our I-phones and I-pad which makes me feel very secure. They weare excellent and I have recommended them to our neighbors.

Mario from Protection 1 did a great job helping us instal a security system in our new home. We had been referred to him by a colleague and are glad we were!
First we scheduled an in house security evaluation and estimate. Mario walked through the entire house with me and made recommendations about what kind of system we should get to protect our home. He was responsive to my specific concerns and had good, informative answers to all of my questions.
We decided to go with Protection 1 and the day of the instal was a breeze. Mario and his associate Gene showed up right on time and installed the entire system exactly as I requested in the amount of time that they estimated. At the end of the day the original estimate was the same as the final cost.
I felt really good about working with Mario and would recommend him and Protection 1 to anyone who is shopping for a home security system.

We got them through a promotion deal and it wasn't a big expense to get them in. We had to sign a 2 year contract with them. We have had really good service from them.

Called the national number and they told me the local people would get back to me within two days. They responded much quicker. The sales agent, Albert Morero, was great. He knows security systems well and takes the time to explain all the aspects of the products and services. Really no complaints. Albert even accomodated my schedule by coming a Saturday morning, early.

I call the operator to complain and she tells me that there is no system to complain and what the workman has put into the computer is correct beyond a doubt! I can leave a message on the supervisors voice mail and that was 4 days ago and no answer!

All I can do is leave a message on the supervisors voice mail and it has been 4 days and no return call! So Now I have no satisfaction and no recourse. This system is getting old and now I believe that the company will rip me off every time I call with a problem. So now I need a new alarm system and I don't want anything to do with Protection One!

They are good. They were previously a different company that was bought out by a bigger company. Their service is still great though. They gave me a 2 hour window when they would come and arrived right in the middle. The service guy was very nice.

WE GOT A GREAT DISCOUNT ON THE PRICE OF THE INSTALLATION. IF THE ALARM GOES OFF, THEY CALL RIGHT AWAY TO MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE ALRIGHT. THEY MAKE US FEEL VERY SAFE IN OUR HOME.

The technicians and salespeople were very helpful, direct, prompt, and thorough. The video technician was especially knowledgeable and went out of his way to repair an existing problem. The alarm technician at first did not quite know what he was supposed to do, but quickly understood and did a perfect job.
