PROCOMP COMPUTER

They were good but I have pros and cons about them. The pros is that they guy knows what he is doing. The cons is that he had another guy who does some work for him and shop was not as good. I'm a bit disappointed. I had a hard drive that I bought with them about a year and a half ago and it turns out that it was not under warranty. It was cheap and it was a terabyte drive so I'm not gonna cry about that. What happened was there was some flood in Thailand and that's where they make a lot of hard drives so the warranties have to be shorten for 8 months, something like that. It was a crappy hard drive because it died in such a short time in that I learned the quality of products they sell there. The price was pretty good and they are near my house.

Procomp Computer had friendly staff and was able to fix my computer well but it took them a little longer than I had hoped for them to fix my computer.

They were the best of all possible computer people. They are wonderful. The technician, Eva, is the most amazing person who handles that. I have never had a problem with them and I have been using them for years. I spent around $1500. They are very reasonably priced. I would use them for the rest of my life.

They are amazing. They are real easy to get to and park. Whenever I am in trouble, I go to them and have been doing so for years. They will get you in if you have a problem. Eva, the office manager, is amazing. She is the one that answers the phone. Wyman has been there for a long time and he is a genius. They built my son a whole new gaming computer. They mostly build business systems for people, but they do repair computers. I have been to them when they were at the other place. They are just very nice and amazing people. I went to many duds before and one of them led me to Procomp Computer. He was having them fix it and charging me extra. It's nice to go right to the source.

He was terrific. I talked to two other people and they said a minimum charge of $30 to $40. But, I took the computer to Procomp Comuter, he put in the battery and did not charge me anything except that I paid for the battery. He did it as a service whereas 2 or 3 people described it as a complicated thing that they would have to charge me for. I was very happy with them and would go back to them with any computer problems that I have.

My computer told me I had a missing or corrupt file in my system32 directory. I took my desktop computer to ProComp and was told it was a fairly simple procedure and would cost $55 to $65. Then they turned my computer on and discovered that I also had bad sectors on my hard drive. So rather than a few minutes, it would take longer. This was a Friday and I told them they could have it over the weekend or longer. I was called Tuesday morning that it was ready. When I went to pick it up, I discovered that they had installed a new hard drive and had managed to transfer nearly all my data from the old hard drive to the new one. They told me that it had taken nearly all weekend for the computer to undergo the diagnostic/repair process. As I had nearly six months of pictures that I hadn't backed up (the several thousand from previous years had been backed up), I was extremely grateful. They turned it on at the shop so I could see that it would work and that my data was still there. Even though I hadn't been asked if I wanted a new hard drive or if I wanted them to get my data off the old drive and transfer it to the new one, I would have given a resounding YES had they asked! I will definitely use them again. Thanks, Angie's List for finding them for me!

It went very well. See above. They are now the first place I will turn if I have a computer problem.

We brought it to him one Friday morning. He told us what he could do for us. We left our old computer and in a couple hours, he called and said we could come pick it up. Easy as pie and the cost was lower that the estimate. Nice!!! I would absolutely use this company again.
