We have taken our cars to this Honda Service Center since 2010. Although sometimes it is true, you do pay more to get the car repaired or serviced at the dealership, the staff and service here at Miller Honda have been exemplary. We have a 2010 Insight and a 2004 Pilot so I guess you could call us "Honda People". We have a lot of miles on our vehicles and need to keep them in really good working order so we rely on the guys at Miller Honda to keep tabs on our cars and help us maintain them. They keep great records and are very honest about what actually needs to get fixed at any given time. They break down the service cost so that is is easy to see where your money is going and they always use genuine Honda parts. They used to wash your car as part of their service, but the last time we were there we were told that they have eliminated that service. All in all, if you want a solid repair place that really helps you keep your car running in tip top shape, I can strongly recommend Miller Honda Service.

The work was performed quickly, and (as far as I can tell) well. I've had no problems since. The service representative I dealt with was wonderful -- courteous, friendly and thorough. Also, I appreciated that I was given a ride home and picked up when my car was ready.
Overall, a great experience with Miller Honda!

They changed two filters, cabin filter and engine filter. They are very complete. I had one problem where something was not fixed right. They fixed it with no charge. The prices are good. They are pretty honest.

When it was over, they handed me a booklet of recommended work. They said that my transmission fluid was dirty/contaminated and that it needed to be changed at a cost of $199.00. At my previous dealership, that I had been going to for the entire life of my Honda FIt, they changed the transmission fluid on the previous visit, less than 3 months ago. According to the manual, this fluid is changed every 30,000 miles. I spoke with my previous dealership and they said there is no way that it would be dirty. I just moved to CA from NJ and this was my first experience with Miller Honda. WHen I called to tell them that I was unhappy with their recommendations, they became indignant and said that they would never recommend something that didn't need to be done.

I have gone to another Honda agency for many years and was happy with my experiences. I moved to a new area and needed to find another mechanic. Miller is the agency in my area so I went there. At first it seemed great, they got me in immediately when I called with a car problem (dashboard light went on), and he said that the rental car would be free; they are next door to the car rental place. The work was done on my car, and they told me I needed several expensive repairs so that the tune up ended up costing $1400. You can't really know whether expensive repairs service managers tell you you need are really needed, you have to trust them. So I guess they were needed. The next time I brought the car in, there was another expensive 'routine' repair. I had brought in a coupon they sent me in the mail to get a discount on the tune up, but the service provider just tossed it aside without looking at it. I asked about it and he said it didn't apply to my service. He didn't explain why. He was rushed and was not connecting with me personally, I felt like I was just an appendage of my car, not a person. When I asked about the free rental car like last time, I was told that was only if your car is only in for a certain amount of time and that it wouldn't apply to my situation. I don't know how he knew in advance how long my car was going to be in there. On another occasion, following their own recommendation, the date came for my oil change. I took the car in to get the oil change and brought a coupon. I was told my car didn't need an oil change. I asked why but did not get an explanation I could understand. On another occasion, my glove compartment latch fell out. I took it in and tried to show the service manager. He hurriedly looked at the car and said I needed a new glove compartment, and sent me to the parts department to order one. He told me it was expensive. But the parts guy wasn't sure if I needed a whole glove compartment. I had asked about whether I could just put new screws in it. He came to the car to look at it. Unlike the service manager, he spent time carefully looking at it and he said I just needed the little screws for $4. He ordered the screws and said they would be in in a couple of days. I really appreciate that he took the time to make sure whether I needed a whole new glove compartment, unlike the service manager, who really didn't care. In two days, I came to get the screws. I took the screws and tried to put them in the glove box but they didn't fit. They were the wrong screws. This is difficult for me to keep going to the mechanic, I have a job and I don't have time for this. But another parts guy ordered different screws and said it would be a couple of days. I had found one of my old screws and put it in, and the box was basically fixed then, so I haven't bothered to go back and get the screws I paid for. No one from there has every called me and said "Your screws came in. You can come get them."

Their handicap parking is in an area that is hard for me to get around in. I have problems walking distances even with a walker and this makes it even more difficult. The area where they drop off my car so that I can pick it up is not handicap friendly. I have to walk over a cement area that is difficult for me to navigate with a walker. No one has offered to assist me with this.

I have since taken the Element to the dealership in Glendale. It turns out the Electrical starter is a bit slow if the car sits unused for several days. This made sense as I am handicapped with Lupus and may be too sick to drive for days and weeks at a time. A fact I had made Miller Honda aware of at the time of diagnosis and pick-up. Overall, they treated me as if I was crazy and was making up the surge reports. Honda national was just as bad, if not ruder. I received the bill for the rental car three months after the fact because Miller Honda did not pay the rent car company. They had promised me when I brought the SUV in they would pay for the Rep's review of the car and signed the rental agreement. I WILL NOT BUY A HONDA AGAIN. And I will NEVER use MILLER HONDA for service. They represent the sleezy car side of car sales and service. Too bad, the ELEMENT is a cool vehicle.

Customer service was prompt and professional. I was able to get a next day appointment when I called. After dropping the car off in the morning, I received an early call to approve the work to be done, and it was all completed in the same day. Overall the price seemed high, but otherwise I was quite satisfied with the work performed.
