J Bros Construction

Amazingly well. Bernardo Alvarez, the owner and GC of J Bros, is a true professional. The project was completed on time and on budget. Bernardo is extremely responsive and a problem solver. We are delighted with both the process and the outcome of the renovation. Our house looks beautiful! All the work was high quality. This was our first renovation. J Bros made it painless. We also think J Bros brings true value for the price they charge. We worked directly with Bernardo (as the GC), but he has relationships with many excellent vendors. For example also facilitated ordering and installing custom cabinets for our house from a local cabinet maker.

Bernardo and crew are hands down the best in the business out here. I called Bernardo up and let him know that I needed to completely gut and remodel my entire bathroom and install new hardwood floors throughout my unit. He came back to me with a highly competitive price which I confirmed. Bernardo took me shopping for all of the tile I needed, he advised me on the type of faucets and bathtub I should get, and he made sure I didn't cut any corners. The shower he built for me is beautiful and incredibly well built. He didn't cut any corners which means I'll never have to worry about leaks or mold. His crew is awesome! They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were really great trustworthy guys. I gave Bernardo and his team my key and they worked while I was at work throughout the day. The bathroom was a huge job and took about 3 weeks - which from my understanding is pretty darn quick. He installed beautiful hardwood floors throughout my entire unit in ONE DAY! I couldn't be more pleased with his work and I'll look to him for any future projects I have.

First...it all began with a bathroom from h***...I had chosen one of those awful "new bath in two days" companies and I knew I was getting what I paid for but in this case I got more.  Mold.  Had to have the mess torn out and mold people come in and thousands of dollars later I had just a sink and a toilet left.  I'm still trying to get my money back from them. 
But I still needed a bathroom and that is when the agent who sold us our condo recommended Bernardo Alverez and JBROS CONSTRUCTION.  Bernardo didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, he told me the truth...it would be three weeks...not a day sooner.  I can only say that I am so happy with my completely new bathroom I won't even let my wife clean it...I get down on my hands and knees and do it myself.  The marble...the amazing shower door...the paint and the molding...the new sink and toilet...it is perfect. 
And Bernardo's painter is so good we just had him do the whole condo.  Yes I am happy.
