Hurtado's Finished Carpentry

We were very pleased with the workmanship and care we received from Jose, the owner from the beginning to the end of the project.  Jose was very communicative and met his timeline as promised.  I would highly
recommend Hurtado's Cabinetry.

We are thrilled with the beautiful work that Jose did! First, he came over and measured the fireplace and we discussed at length how the old mantle was to be removed from the brick. No one could tell how the old mantle was secured to the brick and we didn't want the brick damaged when the mantle would be taken down. Jose was very clear on what we might expect. When he began to take the old mantle apart, it turned out fine because there were only some bolts that held the mantle in place which just left some easily filled holes. Then we worked with Jose on the design and he made a drawing of the proposed mantle. We decided on the details, including the type of wood, and then he went to his shop to build it. Today was the day and Jose brought the mantle to our house. All I can say is that it is perfect and beautiful! It is exactly as I had envisioned it and Jose did such wonderful work. We were actually referred to Jose through Renee's cabinet refinishing on Angie's List. The pictures I post here show the unfinished mantle so I hope the beautiful details will show. Please ignore the fireplace because we are getting a new screen.
