The actually job went smoothly and they cleaned up after themselves.

I wasn't entirely thrilled with the interaction. There was a lot of miscommunication and delays caused by their lack of communication. There were several mistakes that had to be corrected and so forth.

Globe Remodeling was easy to work with, their prices were reasonable, and they did an overall great job considering the price.

They were very good. The project manager was on top of everything. He was responsive and always called back when he said he would. I wasn?t actually here when the work was done. However, it was done very professionally and they cleaned everything up. I was very pleased. Their price was in the ballpark with other companies.

We started with interviewing 3 different people for bids. They came in the middle as far as quotes, but we liked the project manager at globe remodeling. Plus they seemed to be sticklers for permitting everything (which we liked). We started promptly with demolition and all the inital plumbing and electrical were done in the first week. I do have to say that our project manager was very present on the job site (there almost everyday) and available at all reasonable hours to answer questions on the phone. They have a lot of their own people full time, but I definitely got the impression that they were subcontracting quite a bit. All in all things started smoothly. It was when a few things went wrong and had to be redone that the experience became less pleasant. An example is that they replaced a double hung window (the original) with a single hung. We wanted the double hung so the window could open from the top and the frost would stay in place for privacy. We were assuming this was obvious and therefore hadnt specified this in the contract. They agreed to cover the cost of labor to replace it and we agreed pay for the new window. They ordered it and then told us it was 540$ (for a vinyl window)! We did our research and eventually called the same exact company and were told the window was 300$. Clearly they were trying to cover the cost of the labor as well. After we confronted them, they said they would call the window company and we were able to get the money back. Not to mention when they put the replacement window in, it didnt work. They stated it was now the window company's problem, continued to tile the window in and called them out to fix it (which thankfully was not a big deal). In the grand scheme of things, the price difference was such a small part of the entire cost of the project, however, after that experience we just felt we couldnt trust them as much. It was our first project and we were very clueless and perhaps they took a little advantage of that. In adddition, some other minor complaints were that they were a bit messy. They tried to do their best inside the house, but left a large junkpile on our lawn until the end of the project that killed the grass. And the painting wasnt the greatest. Otherwise, for the most part they did a good job. The bathroom is very pretty and really looks the way we had envisioned it. I think if you are knowledgable about remodeling and know exactly what you want, as well as do a very good job at defining everything in your contract down to the smallest detail, they are a good company to hire.

I was trying to do as much myself as I could; permits, sub-contracting etc. I had a separate electrician lined up (who was found on Angies List) and and air conditioner person lined up. The air conditioner guy I had in mind totally flaked on me ( He was not listed on Angies List). So I had Globe continue on without air conditioning. I had a different company do split ductless A/C after the project was done.

They were professional when they came out to give me an estimate. When they came out to do the job they did just what they said they were going too. The price did not change much after the estimate. The quality of the work was okay.

Overall, we were satisfied with their work. We were thinking about buying a house, and I called them to at least have them bid first. They were the first company I called. I have recommended them to a couple of other people, and one of them liked their work. The only disappointment we had was their cleanup and stuff afterwards just didn?t happen. We rescheduled a couple of times for a cleanup crew to come in and then they just kind of disappeared. They came in a couple of months later apologizing and telling me that they had forgotten about it. They took care of some minor problems for us even though we had to negotiate and argue with them.

Overall, we're very happy with our new kitchen. Things we learned along the way? To be very specific about our expectations in particular about the work crew on premises and cleanup.

They were very reliable and very helpful.

They were late. They had to come back. One day they did not show up. They didn't measure the wall right and had to wait 2 weeks for the correct material. I had to call them back 3 times to fix the toilet. I had to call them back to re-caulk the walls. They came back several times and I am still not happy with the work .The toilet does not flush right because he did not install the right flushing system. They took the old materials, including a nice light fixture without asking.

The job ended up being more expensive than we anticipated. There seemed to be something hidden that didn't need to be. Make sure they give an itemized account. This was something I had a little trouble getting a hold of. They were amicable when we spoke to them.

They worked seven days a week and were on time every day. They even stayed late in the evening until the job was done. They did a good job with all the work and I absolutely recommend them and will use them again.

The look of the job was great but I just felt they could have been neater and cleaned up more after they were done. Although I would work with them again, I would let them know that they should do a better job with the cleanup.

This is a very professional company and we really like how kind and considerate they are. The work they do is exceptional and the price that they gave us is very good. We like the quality of their work and recommend them highly.

Salesman was very good and persuasive. Signed the contract on Friday with a 10% down payment and Monday the demo crew arrived and took out the old tub/shower unit. The job took 2 weeks from start to finish. I wish that they would have been able to complete the work sooner but the tile job (a unique design with lots of cutting in) took longer than expected. The workers were very friendly and worked hard for long hours. The did their best to reduce the noise and dust and cleaned up every evening. I didn't have to pay the final balance until after the job was completed.

This was a hard job. At first we did not realize how much work is involved. When the roof was removed their was debris all around the house, but globe Remodeling did a good job protecting our house and protecting the landscape. The next day it looked like nothing happened, we were pleasantly surprised. It took four more days to complete the work which was shorter then we originally expected. During the all process we were always informed of the what to expect.

We first got our roof redone. We were impressed with their response to any questions or concern we had. They always made sure that we know the next step and that we are happy with the work. Our next project was a kitchen remodel, and since we were happy with the roof, we hired Globe Remodeling to do our kitchen. This project was far more involved then the roof, yet we were pleasantly surprised again with the level of communication and professionalism this project was handled with. Thank you! I have to say that my positive experience with Globe started when I placed my initial phone call to the company. The secretary was very nice and pleasant. They took the time to make sure the design of my new kitchen was just the way I wanted and Mike brought me samples and made sure I got what I wanted. They always kept me informed of the schedule and when I had questions or concerns they always got back to me in a timely manner. The workers and Marti the foreman were always on time, polite and professional. Thanks to the office people the crew and mike I finally got my dream come true. Thank you Globe Remodeling.

The new layer of roofing looks great. I love the look and color of the new shingles that they put on. They got all of the roof done in less than a week and they just did a really good job of putting it on. I have not found anything I would change about the work they did.

The one thing I especially appreciated was the thorough and professional way in which they cleaned up. This is such a messy job and they left no trace of it what so ever. We have not had any troubles at all with the new roof since they put it on and it has been nearly two years. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would give them on a scale of 1-10 an 8. They did have a few delays but a few of those were weather related. After completion, they came back out quickly to correct any concerns and made sure I was satisfied in the end.

I had a few problems with the company. I would say that overall they did a good job on the quality of work, but the way that they handled different situations was not very professional. I had to hire another person to come and clean up behind this company because they failed to remove everything properly. I also had some leaking problems in the bathroom when they were finished and I try to call them and they never returned my calls.

THE PAINTERS WERE NOT ON TIME. THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION WITH THE PAINTERS. MY KITCHEN DIDN'T GET PAINTED UNTIL TWO DAYS LATER WHEN THEY PROMISED IT. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE. THEY WERE FRIENDLY. I ASKED THEM TO DO OTHER LITTLE THINGS. THEY DID IT. THEY TOUCHED UP SOMETHING EXTRA.

IT WAS AN A. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL. THEY DID IT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT. THEY DID IT EXACTLY THE WAY WE WANTED IT. IT IS EXACTLY HOW WE WANTED IT, AND THEY WOULD BE A GOOD COMPANY TO USE.
