Clock Repair
Eric repaired the works of my neighbor's grandmother clock and had returned to her home to re-install the parts into the cabinet. She had used his services before and highly recommended him. So I asked Eric if he would come look at our antique Kitchen Clock, which had stopped working. He gave me a written estimate for $180 and said/wrote down that it would take him 4 to 6 weeks to clean and repair the clock. I agreed and he took the clock with him. He called yesterday afternoon, two months later, and asked if he could deliver the clock between 9 and 9:30 am today. He arrived at 9:15 with the clock. The wood cabinet is clean and beautiful, and the cabinet inside and all the works are clean like new. Eric also replaced the felt strips on the base bottom. And most importantly, the clock works perfectly. He charged me $180 and gave me a written 1-year warranty. Eric makes house calls, specializing in grandfather, wall, mantel, cuckoo and antique clocks.
