HERS TESTS: Evaluate existing and newly constructed homes heating ventilation and air conditioning appliances' (HVAC) energy efficiency to assure California's Title 24 energy code is in compliance. HERS TESTS Evaluations may also include: duct leakage, airflow, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), refrigerant charge adjustment (RCA), fan efficacy envelope sealing, and quality insulation inspection (QII) along with other energy saving methods. Lastly, evaluating the building, whether it is new or existing, it will save the homeowner money in the long run by assuring mechanical appliance(s) is not consuming excessive amount of energy.
