"THE CUSTOMER HAD A 15 YEAR OLD ROTTED EVAPORATOR COOLER ON ROOF OF HOME. SHE NEEDED A NEW UNIT. WE GOT IT TEMPORARILY GOING. SHE SAID THAT'S FINE, SHE NEVER SHUTS IT OFF. I SAID IT DID NOT WARRANT A MOTOR, BECAUSE THE UNIT WAS ONE BIG RUST BUCKET. SHE NEVER HAS HAD THE UNIT SERVICED. SHE WAITS UNTIL THE HEAT OF SUMMER IN JULY, AND WANTS A MIRACLE. WE'LL WE GAVE HER ONE, WE GOT IT GOING FOR THE TIME BEING. SHE SAID SHE WAS BROKE, SHE OWED IRS. SHE WAS SELLING THE HOUSE SOON. SO, I TOLD HER TO LET IT RUN AND NOT PUT MONEY IN A MOTOR, WHICH WAS A WASTE OF TIME. DID SHE NOT THINK IT WOULD EVER GET HOT IN LOS ANGELES? SHE WAITS UNTIL THE HOTTEST WEEK IN THE SUMMER WHEN A/C COMPANIES WERE PUTTING CUSTOMERS OFF FOR WEEKS. WE GAVE HER SAME DAY SERVICE, BUT SHE STRESSED SHE WAS FINANCIALLY STRESSED."
