First, I signed on the line to soon, The salesman and I where discussing financing and I thought I was signing for permission  to check my credit but it was a contract. So after I could not get credit on my signature He said he would put me in contact with someone to  refinance my house. He said to contact him if I got the money, and I did, 2 months later,  Well the salesmen had jump the gun and the contract was not finalized but had my signature, and none of the little things that I had discussed with the salesman ever made it to the contract. It was scary, They said it would cost me %40 to get out of the contract. My health is poor and I do not have much energy so I gave in. The job they did was just OK , The roof is frumpy, Lines are not clean. They painted most fo the trim on my house the same color as the walls and only painted one serface of the facia board to reduce the amount of trim they had to cut in. The house is done but I still am missing air-condisioner, Owner said no to re-installing when salesman said yes, ( I loos)  I know this is what happens if you don't keep your wits about you.

The Absolute Worst!!
They put sliding glass doors in for me and they promised me one thing and delivered
something entirely different and not acceptable. I ordered doors WITHOUT grids,
and they put in doors with grids. In addition, the screen-door had no doggy
door cut-out. I had to accept the incorrect doors because they had already
taken out my old doors and frame.
I placed the order with Cal-Energy on August 1, 2012. It has
taken five-months to be able to have a real discussion with  them, or for them to come to the phone when we
called.  They said that they never said they could build the doors without a
grid. They denied saying that he could build them when salesman was at my house
describing the picture to him. He said they don?t make the doors without grids
and said that he never said he could do it and that it was impossible to do. The
exact opposite of what he said when I ordered it.
The (glass and screen) doors are put in crooked and installed incorrectly. They had to order the
screen door from the Danjo Doors. The screen door was perfect until it took two
men 2-1/2 hours to install a screen door, and did it incorrectly and
"shaved" down the top of the door so it would fit their frame. They
damaged the door. In talking with the vendor that finally made the screen door,
they said they could have made the doggy door with on the screen door to match
the glass door, if they had bothered to ask. They also changed the lock on the
screen door and now it doesn't work at all and fell out when touched. The basic
frame of the doors is not straight, and there is a gap between the glass door
and the frame, which makes it very difficult to lock. This can only get worse
with time.
The job is messy, incomplete, crooked, and does not align
correctly. The doggy door on the screen door does not line-up with the doggy
door they put into the glass door. They cannot be used together. I ordered a
door without grids, they put in grids. I now need to replace the entire door
frame and doors. They are incorrect, not what i ordered, and now they even
ruined the newer screen door. I am terribly unhappy with these doors and have
been from the moment I saw them. These doors need to be replaced the way I
originally wanted them and put in correctly.

Two salesmen came out to give us the estimate. The pitch is a bit high pressure and pushy, but they were willing to assemble the somewhat unusual combination of doors that we wanted and the price and door quality seemed reasonable. Their engineer came out later and did the final measurements that we signed off on. Unfortunately, although we didn't know it at the time, this was the start of some trouble. Somehow, the engineer circled the wrong symbol for which side of the french door should be hinged. Hard to know if it was a mis-communication between us or just a simple error, but we didn't catch it when we signed off. Also, we weren't left with a copy of this document to review, so we didn't have a chance to realize the mistake later. So installation day came, they pulled out all of the existing doors and proceeded to install the new ones. In that process we noticed the error. After some haggling and run-around over the phone, we came to an agreement to split the cost of the correct door. I'll come back to this in a bit, but in general I think this was an honest mistake and, other than the haggling about who was responsible, CEC did a reasonable job of working to correct the problem. So I'm not reducing my grade based on this portion of the experience. Getting to the heart of the job, the resulting install was only of moderate quality. They use an embossed sheet metal trim that they cut and fold on-site. This is used for both interior and exterior trim. Particularly for interior trim, this stuff seems really cheap and out of place. It has a fairly heavy embossed wood grain, which looks odd as interior trim. And of course it sounds like a tin can if you tap on it. Additionally, the salesman had promised that all crews had someone familiar with stucco repair and that, in the unlikely event of any stucco damage, they'd patch it right up. Well, in removing the old doors and trim there was a fair amount of stucco damage, and they didn't patch any of it. They just wanted to make the trim wider to cover it up, although in a few places it extends 6-8 inches from the door, so that wasn't practical anyway. So they just placed the trim and caulked it to the stucco, damage and all. Getting back to the door, they ordered a replacement. Some weeks went by, eventually it arrived and they came out to install it. Unfortunately, they mis-ordered it with brass hardware instead of white hardware. They installed it anyway and ordered white hardware with the intention of replacing the hinges, handle and strike plate when that came in. More weeks went by and they came out with the white hardware, but due to some mix up, the manufacturer sent parts for a door hinged on the other side. They were able to flip the hinges around and make them work, but we had to wait some more weeks for the white handle to come in. Thus the install process lasted about 4 months start to finish.

THE INSTALLERS WERE TWO HOURS LATE UPON ARRIVAL. THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG WINDOW. BECAUSE THEY WERE SO LATE, NO ONE WAS HERE SO WE HAD TO LEAVE THE HOUSE OPEN. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CALL MY HUSBAND WHEN THEY WERE DONE AND THEY DIDN'T. MY HOUSE WAS LEFT OPEN ALL DAY. WHEN I LOOKED AROUND, I NOTICED THAT THE FINISH DIDN'T MATCH WHAT I HAD ALREADY IN THE WINDOW. WHEN I CALLED THEY ACTED INDIFFERENT. THEY REORDERED THE WINDOWS, BUT THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE DOUBLE BOOKED SO THEY WERE LATE AGAIN.

WE HIRED THIS COMPANY TO COMPLETE THIS JOB WITHIN A SPECIFIED TIME IN WHICH THEY DID. HOWEVER, I FELT THE WORKER HIMSELF WAS TRYING TO RUSH THE JOB.
