Rentals - Cars
We specifically reserved a 4 wheel drive large SUV for a winter birthday trip to the mountains. Travel information specifically stated that a 4 wheel drive or tire chains would be necessary. We reserved several weeks in advance and called the week before to confirm. The morning we were to depart, we went to pick up the vehicle only to find that they had no 4 wheel drive SUVs in stock. They offered us a smaller non-4 wheel drive SUV but were not apologetic about their failure to provide what we reserved. No other rental store had any on such short notice either. Luckily, there wasn't much snow so we were still able to make the trip safely.
