When I placed the order I asked if the bookcases could be painted white and they assured me they could be. They told me the bookcases were made by the Amish in Pennsylvania and that they painted bookcases on a regular basis for their customers. When they were delivered on May 27th, 2012 they were painted a creamy color and all types of golden streams through it. It was not at all what I wanted and therefore I sent them back. There was a lot of resistance from the store owner (Leon) to follow my request, but he finally agreed to it. When they sent back the bookcases they were gun sprayed (blueish tint) with a primer and the surface was very rough and unfinished. I let the store owner know about it and he said I was the problem and were too picky. I had a professional painter look at the bookcases and he informed me they were never painted, but primed just as I had expected. I had the professional painter finish the job and they looked exactly as I had wanted. Finally, I talked to Leon about getting a refund back (extra paint job) and he refused to give me that  refund

The prices are very fair for what you get. The furniture is very high quality thats in there. They delivered everything to my house for me when I bought it.
