Abbey and his team were on-time and very professional. Prior to their appointment, they were much easier to get in touch with and book service. (We'd called 2 other places and were forced to leave messages with answering services that were never returned, even after multiple calls.) Our issue was a 9" flexible air duct, in our attic, had ripped in half. Air/heat was blowing in the attic and not reaching our vent. ( I was able to climb up and see this was the issue.) I'd called Banner to have them splice a connector in, and make this repair. Upon seeing our set-up, they saw we had many issues -- long runs of duct work that were not connected with metal connectors (just taped) and many, multiple sizes, that was affecting performance. They ended up replacing two large sections that were the wrong size, and cobbled together, and used proper connectors on all sections. They also properly hung all the ducts to help with air flow. They did a very nice job, and I felt Abbey and team were being 100% honest with me. They did dive into the extra repairs before we'd discussed, and I had no idea what the cost would be. I was a bit worried at that, since they were there for 2 hours. In the end, the bill was only $350, and I felt that it was well worth the work that was done. Overall, I get the sense these are good folks, who will stand behind their work.

They came the next day (earlier than the others I called) and diagnosed the system. It was essentially a cleaning issue, and they recommended another company for the job. Their diagnostic charge was lower than others and if I had needed add'l work they would have applied that fee to the job

When Abbey and his crew came to my house initially, I was hoping the furnace repair we needed would be minimal. Much to my dismay, it turned out to be a much larger problem to fix dangerous gas leaks, below-code work from a previous owner, and an antiquated condenser. That is why I was so incredibly grateful for the integrity and quality of their work. Abbey didn't sugarcoat the problems, but he also didn't exaggerate them, and he worked to get me the very best price. He was sympathetic and patient, and he and his crew did fantastic work. I will definitely call on them again should we ever need more work, but given the high quality of their work, I doubt I'll need more help any time soon.

Usually the owner comes out and does the work. They are very reliable and they are great with communication. I would highly recommend them. and will use them again.

Abbey came out very quickly after he received the message that my air conditioner was not working. He determined that the motor had to replaced, which, fortunately, was still under warranty. The next day two of his employees installed the motor and did maintenance on the unit in about 90 minutes. When I chose Banner to replace my unit 8 years ago, it was partly because I wanted to support a local business. I was particularly pleased that Abbey was willing to speak with my daughter who is an air conditioning/heating engineer. At that time, it was December and the heat was out. Abbey made sure that the unit was functioning in time for the holidays. He has always made sure that our needs were met. He is a top-notch professional.

After receiving a $3500 quote from another of your A-rated providers (over the phone --hadn't even visited), I connected with Banner, thank goodness. In less than an hour he replaced a small faulty part and cold air returned! He charged only $225 with my senior discount. I HIGHLY recommend him! He's even older than I am, but really knows his business. Jerk #1 (who shall remain nameless) said he'd need to bring a crane, etc. But Banner hopped on a ladder and was on and off my roof quicker than Santa Claus. He was also very polite. One word of caution: he is VERY busy, so you may not get same day service. (

Abbey and his team arrived promptly and begin disassembling my old system. In about 10 hours, they removed the old system, installed the new system, ran an additional duct to my master bedroom, and installed a dedicated electrical line to the new system (the old system was sharing an electric circuit with the microwave oven!) I am so impressed by Banners professionalism, work ethic and quality, and speed. They made a customer for life!

We received prompt and courteous service. We purchased the deal on Angie's list and contacted the company on a Friday. We received a callback on Saturday afternoon to schedule the diagnosis which was scheduled on Sunday afternoon. Abbey came on Sunday and performed the diagnosis service and scheduled the service/installation appointment for Monday morning. Abbey and his team came on Monday morning and completed the the tune up and Nest installation. We were very pleased with the service we received from Abbey and the Banner Air Conditioning Team!

Abbey and his crew were amazing. Abbey is a one of a kind, honest, intelligent man who is dedicated to customer service at its highest level. His reputation speaks for itself. His pricing was fantastic. He explained absolutely everything that I asked him about. A rare breed of contractor. Don't hesitate to call on him.

Abbey was very professional and explained everything that had to be done. He was detailed with descriptions, itemized all expenses and even provided daily updates as to the progress of the work being done. He and his crew went above and beyond what was expected! Abbey is a very honest person with a kind soul; he would not do anything that wasn't authorized. He even provided very useful advice on matters not related to heating. He and his crews were fast, efficient and friendly. Replacing a heater is not cheap but in this case it was worth every penny.

Abbey and his assistant confirmed the source of the water on the floor was a clogged drain pipe. They cleared the pipe and also checked the furnace sensor to be sure it was working properly. He followed up with a phone call a couple of days later to be sure all was ok.

Abbey and his worked came out that afternoon as promised and checked out my old unit. It ended up not even being my AC unit but a bad breaker that wasnt powerful enough for my unit. I already knew that my entire panel was bad and am will be upgrading shortly, but Abbey gave me some awesome advise on the panel and on my AC unit as well. He was an honest awesome man and he didn't try to sell me anything. He fixed everyhting and tuned up the unit. I will definitely recommend him and will use his company to upgrade my unit this year. Well, it is not fixed. But, Abbey of Banner Air came out to my house at 7pm at night! Come on, who would of done that? That is not during "normal," business hours, and I was quite happy. The assessment was complete, he did his job and he gave me my options. Since I just moved in, I will have my home owners insurance have a look, since it is covered. But I thank Abbey and Banner Air for doing their job (what I paid for). My bad, for not thinking of my home owners insurance before having paid for an assessment, because I have to pay my home owners for another assessment. But, at least it will be covered.

I purchased one of the Angie's List Deals for a diagnostic service call. It was money well spent. Abbey at Banner Air Condistioning was wonderful. He serviced and inspected our a/c unit and even showed me how to replace the air filter myself. :-) He was very prompt, efficient, and polite. I will definitely keep him on my speed dial for any a/c issues that might pop up in the future.

Awesome, kind gentleman... bent over backwards to try & accommodate my crazy schedule. He was thorough and fair, and arrived after-hours to get us up & running during a San Fernando Valley heatwave.  Highly recommend!!
