AW Rugs & Carpet

It took us six months of going back and forth and looking. The owner, whose name is Max, was so patient. Every time we would come there we'll be interrupting his lunch, but he'll ask if we would like some lunch and that they'll go get some for us. He was just the sweetest person and very knowledgeable about carpets. He really knows everything about the carpets. After six months we finally made a decision and it was delivered to our home. It's absolutely gorgeous and he made the buying experience so easy. It's like you wanted to go there because they were so friendly and spent so much time with you. I wouldn't hesitate going back to him. It's just a really beautiful carpet and the one I kept coming back to. I was lucky enough that there was a local company here that had it. I liked their friendliness and professionalism. He was one of those people that was always saying that he'll through in something extra. I though I had to stop the guy to tell him that he wasn't going to make any money off of it if he kept throwing stuff in, but he was just a lovely person to deal with. He really taught you things about interior decorators, like how they purchase a rug first and then they build everything around the rug. He was very good. If I need to get carpet this is the place I'll go.

I've been to other rug stores. It was a shopping errand that I dreaded. They were generally quite unhelpful. Either they were hovering over me, asking me about my budget (a question that I despise) or they would simply point to the piles of rugs and it would be up to me to sort through it, with no help or direction whatsoever.  And then I met Max at AW Rugs.  What a pleasure!  I showed him my color palette and told him what size I needed. Patiently, he showed me every possible rug.  I saw a couple that were possibilities. He suggested I take it home and see if it worked. If not, bring it back, no questions asked. I did. It was perfect. I bought it.  His selection was fantastic and his prices were very competitive. Plus the rug was made in the USA which makes me feel great! A first class experience from start to finish.
