Super easy, they came inspected and figure out what I needed. So they scheduled and fixed the problem.

They were terrific on the service they performed and excellent. They were fast, came in the morning and completed the job the next morning. They built our pool in 1986 and anytime I had a problem they will come and fixed it.

Everything was great.

Eloy at Avanti was terrific. After witnessing a very high end and high price company (Signature Pools and Landscape) perform work badly, incorrectly, and way behind schedule, it was a huge relief to have Avanti come in and complete work in a timely fashion and with no stress or drama.
We were so scarred by our experience with SPL that it was a very welcome surprise to have a company come in and do exactly what they promised (quality work) in the time frame promised (almost immediately) and always with a smile and professional attitude. 
We have now rectified all the problems created by the other company (in 10 days!) and will move on to complete the electric and finishing of our pool. I will re-post when all work is done, but so far I can highly recommend Avanti. They were reasonably priced and have made the process very easy for us.
I am sorry I did not go with them initially. 

I looked at a number of options for our pool from four different companies. Avanti, by far, seemed the most competent and realistic. Another company bid almost twice as much with extra costs like drainage pipes that I didn't need and another guy wanted me to be the contractor in order to save money. The job went without a hitch and no hidden cost. Eight years later, almost everything is still working (the salt water converters only last a few years if you have hard water in your area) and we are still enjoying it. The best part of the whole project was having Eloy Sherlock as the supervisor. He always picked up the phone or called back the same day. His mild mannered personality made the experience pleasant and his expertise on pools in unquestionable.  

I still call him to this day when I have questions and he answers them!!! How often does that happen with businesses these days?

Deciding to buy a pool is a very large, costly, and time consuming decision and you want to make sure that you have a team that will be responsive, creative and experienced. Avanti has all three. We worked with Eloy and he walked us through the entire process from design to final approval all with a smile on his face. He answered all our questions and didn't rest till everything was complete and was always around to answer questions. Also throughout the process he was very receptive to any complaints we had and did his best to quickly remedy them. When you work with Avanti you are getting a full service operation, who also comes in at a competitive price.

Went very well.  Eloy Sherlock (one of the Avanti partners) came to the house, measured everything, asked a few questions, and had a bid in my hands within 2 days.   Comparing apples to apples, price was more or less similar to other bids, but he made some good suggestions during the initial consultation that made my original plans better...so he got the job.   Demolition happened shockingly quickly (in at 7:30, done by about noon!), and we incurred a 1-day delay to re-choose tile after we discovered that my original choice was unavailable in bullnose.  Not to worry, the choice we settled on was actually better than the first!   Tiling, plumbing, and installation of the new electrical was finished in 2 days, and the application of the PebbleSheen surface was completed by a 6-man crew (from M. Preciado Pools, one of the certified PebbleTec application contractors) in just a few hours.  A smaller crew returned the next day to acid wash the new surface, after which I refilled the pool.   Time from demolition to refilling the pool was one week.   We had only a couple surprises during the process...the spa light had never been wired (we did not know this as we only bought this house a year ago), and a suction line (for an automatic vacuum) had been cut.  These were restored with no fuss.  Eloy has since been available to answer questions, in a couple cases conference calling with Hayward when he didn't have a ready answer to a question.   Fiona (in the office) was a pleasure to work with.  I wish I had allowed them to do the concrete work on my deck, as that has been problematic...I'm optimistic that the (unnamed) contractor for that aspect of the work will make it right in the end, in which case he will also receive a favorable report here.

After buying my hillside home in Silverlake, i wanted to put in a pool and met with half a dozen or so pool contractors to make sure and do it right. The fact that the house was on a hill made me nervous. At least until I met Bernard at Avanti Pools. There was not even a close second in my mind or that of my secretary/assistant who met with even more contractors, vetting them before I sat down with the top six or so choices. Bernard was the perfect combination of easy-going and incredibly confident and competent. What felt sure to be an intense process actually turned out to be remarkably pleasant. They hit all of their benchmarks in terms of time frame, dealt with the city and permitting process easily and finished on time and even maybe a little early even though I was pushing them to hurry because the summer was coming up.I Not only that, Avanti was the cheapest bid to boot. Finally, Bernard was artistically and aesthetically terrific as well and I deferred to him on many choices from plaster and tile color to decking options. I ended up with one of the nicest pools I've ever seen (and many others agree). Virtually everyone who comes over comments on the pool and backyard and I have recommended Bernard and Avanti many times since and my friends have all been similarly pleased with their service. In short, they can't be beat in my opinion.

They did not do a good job and when I pointed out mistakes, they refused to fix it. They argued a lot with me and were not professional. Their pricing was fair but the quality of their work was very bad. I had a miserable experience with them.
