Angel's Plumbing

Very cooperative. Very polite. Arrived on time, finished the job in 2 hours. The previous 2 plumbers I spoke to tried to sell me on a replacement that cost at least twice as much. And they were much slower to respond. Angel's Plumbing was professional, charged a fair price and I would recommend them vey highly.

They showed up on time even in the morning. They did the work as necessary and did not tell me about work that need not be done. I trust them with what they did and their prices were reasonable.

Returning home from work, my wife noticed a puddle at the water heater enclosure. Upon inspection, she found the area full of water, leaking from the water heater, but not, apparently, from the connections. She called me at work and I told her where to find the owner's manual and to turn off the water and heater. The manual had a service number and that operator told her to call Angel's Plumbing for emergency repair or replacement.
Their service tech arrived within 1 hour, ascertained that the problem was an internal tank leak and recommended replacement with a similar GE model (ours was an 11 year old RHEEM). He disconnected the unit and capped the pipe so that we could at least have cold water until the replacement was installed. Price quote was $975 for delivery, installation, new pan, installation of a new (local)
water cutoff valve, and new to-code earthquake mounting. They projected a start time of 7 AM the next day (today), and arrived at 8 AM. The installation was completed and the unit turned on and apparently functioning by 9:45 AM.
Very polite crew, very professional, cleaned up, took away old parts. The only item I wish were better is that we were not given a choice of water heaters. Because we live in a Mobile Home, the choices are limited, but there are at least two other available models with slightly better ratings and reviews. Final price was the quote ... no complaints there.

My Tenant called to let me know that his water heater was leaking. I was at work and didn't really have the time to go purchase and pick-up a new water heater. I called Angel (I've been using him for six years now) and explained the situation. He gave me a price for the type of water heater I wanted, which was right in line with what I'd seen on the Home Depot, Loewe's and Sears website. He went and picked the unit up and installed it first thing in the morning. I was referred to him year ago and he's always been GREAT about quick responses to emergency repairs as well as regularly schedule work. Over the years, he's replaced bathroom and kitchen fixtures, garbage disposals, installed a dishwasher, moved plumbing and gas lines so I could install a washer/dryer, and now two water heaters. Always easy to work with and a total professional. He's Licensed as well.
